If KM was just another coach LSU fans would be screaming for her to be fired

No they would not. STFU and go back to pretending the LSU Women's CBB team doesn't exist.

She just won the NC and the team has lost a few key players who decided they didn't like their role.

Again This was not a statement on coaching. But you cannot win on a tournament setting with 6 players unless that are all premier players. And HVL is not a premier PG. She is too slow and doesn’t handle pressure well especially when she doesn’t really have a quality backup to give her rest. In a tournament setting with multiple games in a few days it will be an issue. She’d be better off getting some of the younger players experience and let them make those mistakes early.

I think LSU has issues that are not fixable until the offseason but they do have things they can fix and go on a huge run when it matters. LSU still has the talent to do what they want to do when post season hits.

1) Even if its a struggle, I'd have Flaujae or Williams handle the ball mostly moving forward and make HVL a shooter. If HVL is going to struggle running the PG at least get her scoring going at the off guard. In our two losses vs Miss St/Auburn she has gone a combined 2-15 on offense while running the point, its affecting her ability to get comfortable on offense so lets help her out and move her off the ball to get her flow going.

2) Kim has to use her bench better down the stretch. While our starting five is talented its apparent they get highly fatigued. Rosario and Poa need to be eating up 10-12 minutes a game. I'd even go a step further and give Kent 5-7 minutes to give Mikaylah a chance to rest up at times. I think its not fair to the starting five to continue playing as much as they have. If they do its going to be hard for them to be fresh or energized late in games when it matters

No one is unbeatable so regardless of what seeding/region LSU ends up in they can do what they want to do but they really are going to have to turn up the intensity and sense of urgency this last month before the NCAAT.
