Is this like "Free Beer Tomorrow"?

Tim Brando on Finebaum said hes gone and it'll take 5-10 years to recover. Soooo.....that's that.

Brando said that... I am more confident than ever that Wade will be back.

I'm pretty sure Brando has lost any of his "connections" at LSU.

Of course the OP, after talking a huge game yesterday, is nowhere to be found.

Funny how you'll get a ban for saying during a game "The team needs to rebound better" yet false threads like this are allowed to be started with no repercussions.

Here's where I think there's more disagreement, I believe that Alleva suspended Wade simply to show the NCAA that he's in control. Most fans seem to think this went too far, and loyalty, and winning coach, and blah, blah...

I can’t speak for everyone’s here, but for me it’s about risk/reward. What did LSU gain by calling Wade into a meeting with the NCAA, suspending him, or commenting publicly on the situation?

My argument is that none of these actions were rational (in the economic sense of the word) because the known and potential costs outweighed the benefits.

But the REAL over-reaction to me is coming from the fans. Nothing has actually happened yet. Wade is still employed by LSU, there is no NCAA investigation. LSU was in the Sweet 16, and won the SEC.

You’re forgetting this is just the latest brick in the wall with this AD and President.

Tim Brando is an egotistical, no-talent hack.

Louisville fired its coach and AD and just received a formal notice of inquiry from the NCAA. The NCAA takes notice when schools admit guilt.

My sources tell me that there will be some information on this that will come out within the next two weeks. If not within two weeks, it will be maybe a month.

That Will Wade never coaches at LSU again. Same as I've heard since March 8th

Even if this is true, then we are still sitting without a coach while every other program is recruiting.

That's incompetence from our AD.

They fired Petino and their AD for their prior allegations and sanctions. This is potentially their second major violation while on probation. That’s why they received a notice of inquiry

Yes, best news is that all reports agree that Wade will remain as head coach.
