They are all semi pro now. NIL and transfer portal hitting at the same time has ruined college athletics that we once knew.

Well look at how much old arse Brian Kelly stole from LSU.

Apply the same standard for just once in your life. You can’t, it would expose your stupidity.

And you use AI for replies. What a retard. Take your meds. Stop leaching, oh wait you already do that to Wade's junk.

Someone, please anyone, tell me why we are signing such a second rate player? I researched him on the net and he apparently only played 8 games in 2024-25 and 5 games in 2025-26. He was drafted by the Celtics but that was 6 years ago. In his European career he never played more than 30 minutes a game and his stats were average at best. Is this the best we can do? And forget the 5 million. You would have to be brain dead to pay this guy such a sum.

I remember years ago during signing day for football, the first player to fax in his papers was a tight end named Zach pendarvis.
One poster was quite excited about this and, perhaps dizzy from the rumors, the signing sagas, and all the random decommitments occurring nationally, he said he wanted to have a roster of Zach pendarvis’ who were excited to be tigers and really wanted to be a tiger.
Fair enough, I suppose, but the funny thing was for some reason—probably because he was overshadowed by other talent on the roster—pendarvis never played a single down for LSU.
There are probably lots of people who would die to play for lsu—that doesn’t mean we would be happy to watch them.
In terms of our recent basketball strategy, I believe wade is trying to put the best team in the court; we want to be competitive, right? If this beats the instate talent, then I’m for it if it means we can win.
I also believe wade has mentioned that we won’t be using this heavy international approach for long, but if applied correctly, it can certainly be successful. Look at Illinois—they’ve been nicknamed the ‘Balkan bloc’ for targeting Europe and the balkans.
I think fans just want to see a winning product, and everyone agrees that wade can (and already has) been good at this. We’ll see how things go, but I think we agree this will beat what we’ve seen over the past four years

Macman didn't pay that much for the whole team

I’d rather suck than have a “team” full of foreign professionals.

but there's something really shitty about LSU handing out this type of money to what appears a rando, especially with how shite today's economy is for the average American.
you think taxpayer money is paying this fool to play ball at LSU?
