Damn strong offer
Posted on 5/18/26 at 3:12 pm to wryder1
That is a strong offer for 3.1 points and 1.4 assists in 16 games

Will this year's roster come with a pronunciation guide?
I'm excited to be back in the orchard this year. Back on the list for season tickets

Yeah this guy's numbers are kinda doo doo for $5 million.
Love the Will Wade hire, but there's something really shitty about LSU handing out this type of money to what appears a rando, especially with how shite today's economy is for the average American.
Hope I'm wrong though.

It’s not true. Dont worry.

Don't worry, you'll soon be beat up by clowns telling you how great of a league he plays in, and those stats mean nothing
A 25 yr old professional player, coming to steal 5 M from us. What a freaking joke this is at the same time, showing the desperation mode WW is in. What a joke that college has become
Yea

I honestly don’t know how to feel about this because that is top of the line pay for someone with hardly no stats. But I know Wade is a 100x better talent evaluator than I’ll ever be so I’ll just trust his judgement on this. He must really see something in this guy to validate paying him $5 million for only scoring 3.1 pts

I doubt that number is true and he’s not going to eligible anyways

FIve Million. (That could buy JJ another Skenes!)
How is this any different than Oats signing that Pro guy for Bama that everybody on here had a problem with?

I suspect that is the case.
So much of what comes out about NIL money is either grossly exaggerated or complete BS. That doesn't just apply to LSU, but everywhere in the college basketball landscape. Few who report any of this have access to the actual contracts. It's all just layers of conjecture and (mostly) exaggeration

I have no idea what distinction the NCAA has drawn regarding all this stuff, but Bedaiko at Alabama was drafted, played in the G League and was on multiple 2-way contract for NBA teams.
This guy was drafted by an NBA team but stayed playing professionally overseas. His only NBA participation was competing in the NBA summer league for a week in 2021
All this stuff is dumb and needs to stop. If you've played professionally at a sport, you shouldn't be able to compete in the same sport in the NCAA thereafter

WW's first ever "High Motor Gym Rat Lunch Pailer" that might have the talent to see the floor, score some points and help the teams get some wins.
Don't like this new trend of signing professional athletes though.
