Its actually good news that a panel outside the ncaa is reviewing this, better than the ncaa

Not in this case. This panel was designed to enforce much stricter penalties that can’t be appealed. They will bury programs.

Hopefully Memphis since they’re in the middle of that process now.

It’s all attorney speak. WW needs to play dumb and be a “dumb coach” for a bit, while the suits and $ deal w the ncaa.

So you would be okay if we have been cheating in football but not basketball?

Is it really cheating if it’s the norm amongst every single top program which has to compete for championships? Fire our coach for doing his job and level the playing field to be competitive? That’s nuts!!!

I wouldn’t call it cheating. I’d call it changing with the times.

Ain’t no one trusting your shitty sources anymore

You going to still tell us that they haven’t been investigated?

You’re a fraud

Nice to see that The Advocate changed that stupid headline.

Investigation into LSU's Will Wade bribery allegations likely headed to independent panel: NCAA

This is much more fitting to the content of the article.

Seems to be a consensus on the board about a handful of posters lmao.

It’s the rest of the world that’s wrong, not them!!

I love people like that. So emotionally healthy

Why is the OBJ issue a violation? He was obviously under the influence and all the money was recovered

Why wouldn’t he be pissed? It seems Wade’s stalling and refusal to cooperate may piss off the NCAA and drag football into this 6-12 month independent review process for a level 3 violation like a self-reported improper contact.

Explain who and why football is being investigated?
Is there suspicion on Miles as well?

This isn't accurate at all. This was pushed for by schools and from what I've read, it will take a more legal look and push the NCAA to provide evidence. It's more like a trial for the school and the NCAA instead of the NCAA serving as the judge and jury.

Their decision can't be appealed, but the thought process is the burden of proof on the NCAA will be greater. NC State will be the first school to work through this process with Memphis and KU right behind.

winning the conference in his 2nd year and finishing 2nd in his 3rd year while also being ranked going int his 4th year after taking over a complete tear down and rebuild is what makes him a damn good coach.

NONE of this matters because he is a cheater and that makes him an embarrassment to the LSU community. WW has violated his contract by not cooperating with the NCAA. Woodward has an obligation to protect the future of the LSU athletic department by releasing WW. If Woodward does not fire WW, he will be sending a message to the NCAA that LSU is OK with a non-compliant coach and will be signing LSU's death warrant.
