Well, he had to get his shots in while he could.
The whole U of La thing is absolute rubbish. They're USL, just like ULM is NLU. Neither have any more claim to being THE university of Louisiana than NSU, SLU etc.
My original degree is in Pharmacy so I attended NLU. I have never understood the envy of LSU. I and those I know have always had a sense of pride in LSU being the standard bearer of Louisiana.

For me the non-conference games are generally a bore. After watching ULL's turnout for the New Orleans Bowl I decided that we made a mistake. When we dropped Tulane we should have replaced them with ULL in football. Their home game could be the Superdome vs LSU every other year.
I'd much rather play an opponent that brings 40k to a game then what we currently see in non-conference scrimmage.

I love how the Cajun fans act likevLSU got the easy road by having to win ON THE ROAD at Mizzou an A&M. Do they realize that in the last 6 years that LSU has been sent to the West Coast a few times? Even during the broadcast of their game, the broadcasters stated that Arizona St has only lost about 3 times in school postseason history at home. lSU has one of those wins.

So back in March, softball didn't matter. Was compared to swimming by LSU fans, when it was pretty obvious that ULL had a better team.
