Wilbon on PTI just crucified Burrow

They were comparing Tua to Joe and Wilbon called out scouts and evaluators for being lazy thinking Burrow should be drafted higher. He said Burrow hasn’t done jack in pressure situations. He loves Tua and thinks he has performed under pressure. I’m sure Joe would love to keep hearing this the rest of the season.

If that safety from UGA doesn't blow his assignment on that last play, the Tua hype would be cut in half.

I’m pretty sure Wilbon didn’t even know Burrow was our QB last year. Talk about lazy scouts. He seems like a lazy overpaid reporter to me

Wilbon has likely not seen Burrow play at any point. He probably hasn’t seen Tua play more than two games.

I was waiting for this thread. Wilbon’s opinion was ill informed and preposterous. He compared Burrow’s and current talk about Burrow going before Tua to the entire build up that led to Mitch Trubisky being drafted so high.
Wilbon hates stats and especially advanced stats and is purposefully being stubborn and still want to use how many wins a college qb has as the most important stat when drafting.
