OLine was terrible all season

Yet he was the first coach kept ??

He came on late and was left a mess. His work to improve what he was given was nothing short of spectacular.

OL improved from beginning on the season to the end, despite a bunch of injuries throughout

BK has put out some fantastic o-lines and o-lineman, if he think Davis can coach then I will take it. It also says a lot about the man that he was named the interim to lead this team to the bowl game. So to recap: Baton Rouge native locks down recruiting, respected as an o-line coach in the coaching community and won over BK, and respected enough by the admins to be named the interim. Yea, I would say he is better than you make him out to be.

I do think he is a good coach who was dealt a short hand. Not just by Coach Cap'n Caveman, but by his OC.
