1. He will be hired by a major program soon. With what he's doing at FL Atlantic its inevitable. He would jump at the opportunity to come here.

2. VERY low chance he leaves us after a couple of years. He has already had a stint at his dream school and they wouldn't hire him again. Doubt the NFL ever touches him again and I don't think the NFL interests him

3. He would KILL it in recruiting here. I'm talking about the type of classes like UGA had this year.

4. He is an offensive mastermind. Him paired with Aranda or another great DC would be fantastic

5. MOST IMPORTANT. He HATES Saban. With a fiery passion, and has admitted the one thing he wants to do is bring Nick down. This is perfect for us.

He was already turning UT around when he left for USC. At USC he had to deal with sanctions and all that comes with it. He had FL Atlantics best season by far in year one.

Bring him on

I really Hate Lane Kiffin

But if you don’t get a ride from the idea of LSU beating Saban with Kiffin as coach you’re basically dead

Co-HC Aranda and Kiffin, ya know since we are being such a innovative school and all

All seriousness, hell yeah. Bring on Kiffin!

correct, but not in a good way.

when they hired him, they were still a respectable program that was in desperate need of fresh life.

he turned them into a punchline that was slap dead center of the NCAA’s crosshairs.

I love the idea and if he stays out of trouble with the NCAA I believe he could accomplish all of those goals. But....he scares the hell out of with possible sanctions he could bring onto LSU if he gets too creative in recruiting.

It would not be a boring tenure that is for sure. I like Kiffin as an offensive mind but here scares me as a head coach. He scares me as a head coach for my team and against my team. It’s a very confusing situation.

I will say this, Kiffin with an ax to grind against Bama at LSU if he could get Arranda to stay would be legit. Unfortunately, our admin and BOS are useless fricks that won't allow it.

I hate lane kiffen too, but I have no doubt he'd bring back the swag to BR and LSU football.

I hate to say it fellas but I think we are stuck with O for at least two more seasons. I think it would have to take a disastrous 2018 season (5-7 or worse) or some type of scandal in order for him to be let go. The higher ups at LSU aren't concerned with be a legitimate contender anymore. I think they perfectly content with 8-9 win seasons as long as the money keeps coming in. I really believe the firing of Miles was more of a personal thing for Alleva than wanting to win championships.

not at all my first choice but i can think of about 30 (realistic) coaches off the top of my head i'd take over O in a heartbeat and he's definitely on the list.

Kiffin, but only IF you promote Ed O to AD and wholly replace and re-tool the compliance dept.
