Why have the Mannings boycotted LSU football?

As stated by Dandy Don, "Arch Manning" playing for LSU has little or no chance of happening. That would make (4) QBs from the Manning family and not one played for LSU....

Anyone know the history here.......

LSU has two young, talented quarterbacks in Nuss and Howard who Arch would likely be sitting behind. Why deal w that when you can go to another title contender and be the big guy on campus from day 1?

Our qb room for the foreseeable future is fine, with or without him.

Archie played for Ole Miss

I wouldn’t have sent my son to LSU in 93-94 if he was a 5 star QB.

Eli was good but not elite coming out of high school, and Ole Miss hired Peyton’s boy as HC to seal the deal. It was a done deal when they hired Cutcliffe.

First of all Archie is from Mississippi and played for Ole Miss!
Second LSU beat the crap out of Ole Miss when Archie played for them and LSU fans were less than courteous to him. LOL.
Archie has never liked LSU and I could care less if he did!!

Apparently Archie was scared for life by the mean old LSU fans in 1969.

The same reason Walker Howard told Saban to pound sand.

Have a feeling Arch ends up at Texas if they turn things around.

And let's not forget Josh Booty had committed to LSU. So we had a big QB commit before Peyton.

They not getting the next Manning because the LSU job is way too full right now.

LSU actually has several big time Louisiana QBs next few years which is rare. They might not land any of them due to the log jam they have at QB right now.

Wouldn’t be surprised with Sarkisian there. I’m actually looking forward to seeing him play in college (preferably out of the SEC), LSU or not.

LSU-Ole Miss in these days was like LSU-Alabama of late. The hatred was strong.

If you have to ask that question, you probably need to watch a film on LSU football history.
