I don’t want him over BK but in the event that BK retires I certainly wouldn’t turn my nose up at Kiffin.

He’s 2-2 against Sam Pittman.

He’s a coach who gets a lot of media attention, gets good players and is controversial and exciting. Every year he supposedly has a heisman qb then shits the bed. LSU has better talent but not by much with how he runs his team. He’s also a very aggressive coach that takes risks that sometimes work and others look embarrassing asf.

You’d have to pay out your arse to get him at LSU and that’s when you make stupid mistakes - A&M and Jimbo.

Yes. He won an SEC West championship in 2022.

Also, he brought Notre Dame to #1 rankings in the polls, a BCS Championship Game appearance, and two College Football Playoff appearances. That’s far more than anything Lane Kiffin has ever achieved.

He won by the skin of his teeth with some luck. All Chris Hilton had to do was catch the ball that hit him in the hands at the end and we win.

That’s not exactly beating our asses.

That’s not a championship. He won the SEC West in order to make it to the SEC Championship. Which he lost.

But that’s not what you said. You were talking about winning P5 championships.

He does act like a kid. He is immature and sticks his nose in other team's business. He needs to keep his mouth shut. He gives me the impression of a man who is trying to relive his childhood. Is he the one that was fired in an airport by USC? Isn't the Ole Miss job the first job where he is experiencing success?

As a person Kiffin is an 100 percent grade A arrogant condescending A-Hole.As a HC his reliance on offensive "Analytics"to dictate the offense has spelled doom at Ole Miss.My opinion of Kiffin was galvanized in his career jumping...leaving Tennessee as new HC to become the new HC of USC. How did that work out for Lane!
With the 12 team play-off beginning,NIL,Portal I can't wait to watch Ole Piss coached Kiffin shoot for the moon and crap out ...AGAIN !

His offense is fantastic and with a good D Coordinator he would kill at LSU. Problem with him he would win here then go to the pros.

He is currently 2-2 against LSU as a head coach, and he has yet to win a championship of any kind at the Power 5 level. Not even an SEC West crown.

Hes at a program that is not used to winning hence why they have never been to the SEC Championship game and he is 2-2 against us when we usually dominate that rivalry. And he has taken his team to 2 NY6 Bowls in 3 seasons. We haven't even gone to 1 in that time frame. Trying to diminish what he is doing at Ole Miss is a losing argument. Now this is not me campaigning or even me saying I want him as our Coach but to not acknowledge what he is doing is ignorant.

Listen I'm no Kiffin glazer but this is a stupid fricking point:

When Kiffin has been HC (when he played us) he had significantly less resources and talent than LSU. He should be 0-4.

To answer the actual question: He's on the youngest side, he always produces good offense that plays above it's talent level, and he's entertaining.

Because they are stupid and think his one “good” season at ole miss (at a time when the SEC west was at its weakest in decades and they ignore the fact like at least 4 of those games were won by a score of less than 7 points meaning theoretically those games could have easily gone the other direction with a single play) makes him all of a sudden a great head coach. Never mind the fact that no team he’s ever been head coach for has had a defense worth a shite and honestly, even the offense has been a bit overrated with scores being run up against bad defenses and very lackluster when he’s faced decent defenses. He’s also not known as a good recruiter (in fact that’s been one of the biggest complaints against him by teams he’s coached for).

I’ve asked them many times to point out where and how with reputable citation and evidence a Lane Kiffin run LSU football program is better than a BK run program. I always get crickets as my answer because they can’t point out one single metric where Kiffin is better unless you count poon slaying (and even then that may not be true. Just look at how much scrunt Les Miles was getting and hardly anyone knew about it. Who’s to say BK is bathing is pussy juice on a daily).
