They added AG Liz Murrell to the lawsuit.

With everyone involved being a State of Louisiana employee, I'm sure it's whatever big law firm the state has on retainer.

good question. It's in Federal Court, so LSU should be able to Pro Hac in Louisiana counsel. The should also retain local counsel with a strong relationship with the judge (a Bama undergrad and law school grad).

No one has made an appearance for them yet (per docket as of this post).

I'd imagine its difficult to find local admitted counsel to represent them.

Almost like there's a reason you can't file shite like this in this court.

They added the AG and every member of the Board of Supervisors to the lawsuit. LSU and Louisiana are absolutely defendants here.
