I'm not sure that we will replace Blake, cause LK will not fire him. But if Blake does leave then Dj Durkin is my first phone call. If Brent Venables gets fired he is more likely to go back to Clemson than us but he would be another phone call.
I will still say it until I am blue in the face that I wish Brandon Taylor would have gone into Coaching because that was a high IQ defensive player that I truly believe could have been a great DC.

He is still close with Dabo and is beloved there. A mess or no doesn't mean anything. Brent is a very loyal guy, he turned down opportunities for years when everyone was courting him. He has only coached at 3 teams. He isn't going to go anywhere. He is a unique Coach in that regard with as long as hes been Coaching. He has turned down much better opportunities and if he is let go, I 100% believe the first phone he gets is from Dabo.
