The chop blocker! Wasn't he?
When the target can keep moving and no gun to the head for wrong predictions, everyone is an expert! No real analysis needed.

I have seen posters make this comment in other threads. Can someone list them?

Taking this seriously for a change.
He's been the AP Coach of the Year twice. Only two other coaches have accomplished this, Nick Saban and Gary Patterson. Not bad, eh?

Whatever makes you sleep at night!

In a few years, 2024 in ND football will be remembered as when y'all lost 16-14 to the Northern Illinois Huskies.

That must be a perfect system! Makes me wonder if you ever went to college.

You could have waited till Monday, seen the result, and then posted. IF it's a loss, do you still stand by those words?
Like many have pointed out, the starting point for both coaches was not the same to even compa

There must be a banner for that too!

Simple. This makes BK look like Mark Richt

Good analogy! I hope not though.
Manning will get a significant number of snaps - the kitchen and sink package to beat OSU. And, he may be the reason why Texas will win.

Eventually, I'd rather have Ped State win it all so that we don't have to hear from Texas or OSU!

ND offense is putrid and could only manage 14 points against Northern Illinois. They're not winning it all this season.

Ouch!

NIL should not be a tax write off. I’m not sure if it is or it ain’t.

If the organization is setup as a 501(c)(3), it can be a tax write-off. For it to be a legit organization, that organization cannot technically spend more than 30% of it as paying student athletes. However, until

Breaking a NIL contract

For folks in the know, how do these NIL contracts work, especially the multi-year ones?
If a QB has a multi-year deal, what does it mean for him or whichever organization entered into contract to break it and go into the portal? Some states may even allow athletes to opt out of their contract at ag

Who paid for his training? I'm sure it's his parents.

I'm sure coaching for every sport is through the roof. I can speak for archery - it's ~4k for equipment. Every arrow is about $70. Coaching is $150 per hour. Training cost
This is all like startup companies roaming around with valuations that nobody will invest in. Occasionally, a few get funding.??

The Auburn game should be a reminder.

TX over Alabama (Home loss)
FSU over Alabama (they didn't lose even with a 3rd string !)

The attitude and heart! The Heisman needs people like JD!

250 yards, 4 TDs, and still lose the Heisman to JD.
JD is special. I want to see how the next season goes. If he can sustain 10 win seasons, he will eventually win a few titles here with the new playoff system. Consistency is key and not many teams have shown that.
