Any assistant coach with reasonable P5 experience, inexpensive (3 mil or less per year ->more NIL money), 3-4 year contract, young, and willing to put in the work with no bull-shite, and no fake drama trying to "fit" in. Basically an UNKNOWN would have worked better!
Worst case, we could have had the same results and contract would be over!

He's not immature anymore. However, it's hard to contain the devil in him for long though. He will spew something from time to time! ??
Kelly underestimated EVERYTHING.
1. The expectations of our fanbase (Sure, we're spoiled!)
2. Winning openers.
3. Winning teams consistently in the SEC.
4. NIL era
5. Getting to the playoffs with the 12 team expansion
6. The buyout (thinking it's going to stop from being fired).
7. The buy in from players to win (He's NOT a players' or people person who thought that people would just pour their hearts to win here.)

You're saying, there's a chance!

Dennis Franchione left Baba for Texas A&M
Bill Curry had a toxic environment at Bama and left for Kentucky.
Urban Meyer had "health issues" at Florida.
Brian Kelly left Notre Dame for LSU.
Mario Cristobal left Oregon for Miami.
Texas and USC W have been irrelevant for over two decades.
Three coaches have won national titles at LSU. It must be meh!

Not a big fan of him. Kiffin will be another flash in the pan like O or Les. We need to get a find like Saban from Michigan State.
Tulane and Michigan State have the green theme in common. Lol...
My pick would be Sumrall!

HUNH with no one to call plays!

Brian Kelly wanted to be fired. Its the only logical explanation why Kelly would be unwilling to fire Sloan.
I don't think he believed that Woodward would fire him with what's owed. Maybe Kelly was surprised. Any reasonable person with pride doesn't want to be fired. Money is secondary to the ones who already have enough.
re: We are underdogs at Vandy

It's good for football! Blue bloods in college football should not exist. It's no fun if the same teams keep winning titles!
re: Vandy is averaging 43 points a game?

F it!!!
We are not losing to Vandy!!! Don't care what their stats are. Pavia is good. But, I think our D contains him and their offense to less than 17.

Lol, Bama saw that coming. Just run up the middle!!! Pavia trying to be hero is hurting the team.
I'm sure Lane has a few tricks stores just for us. I think they score 24-27 on us. If our offense cranks even at 75%, we put will put 30 or more on the board.

Why would they steal your number just to make charges back at the concession stand where they work?
Charge the card for a customer who pays cash and the cash goes in the pocket.
re: Reading between the lines on why Nuss is playing this weekend

Balance it with Nuss and Durham and get a lot of team confidence before Ole Miss is what I want to see as a fan.
You're not going to like the price, but get something with image stabilization. I use the Sig Sauer 20x42. You can find used for 600-700 and new for about $1000 (10% off + sale).
I use this for recurve target archery and can track arrows with it. Magnification without image stabilization is frustrating to the core!!!

With the away our offense has played and if it doesn't improve, I see three losses at the least. Bama, A&M, and Oklahoma.
All he had to say was that we are ironing out the issues, the OL needs to gel together, and play as a cohesive team. Instead he took the wounded bitch route.
Even if he wins a championship, he will always be this salty person that everyone loves to hate.

re: Would Saban have been as successful if he had stayed at LSU?
Posted by That One on 9/2/25 at 2:32 pm to RTRnFlorida
High School Algebra 1:
Saban 2x the coach that Les is.
Saban is 4y the coach that O is.
How many titles would Saban have won at LSU from 2005-2025?
Solution guide:
x is 1.5
y is 1
2(1.5) + 4(1)

iMO, in our context, the catch was completed when a football move was made with a few steps and a dive. The ground contact, the ball moving, and all that crap is moot when he crossed the plane. Touchdown!!!
