Jhyryn Taylor
You serious ? You're joking right ??
Jhyron wasn't even the best Taylor brother
Terrance Magee is arguably the best athlete from Franklinton who played for LSU. He was honored with #18 and played in the NFL.
Curtis Taylor and Brandon Taylor were solid Safety's that contributed to LSU's success. Curtis won a BCS Championship, and both played in the NFL.
Jhyron saw very little playing time at LSU, and transferred after his RS-FR year. I don't recall him ever playing CFB again.

Probably Alley Broussard.
Gil Meche was a great pitcher and i think he signed with LSU but went straight to the mariners. Sheri Sam (women’s basketball) was also amazing

CHS Class of ‘80. Can’t believe I left off Todd. Patted him on the shoulder pads on the field after the Indy Bowl win over ND and thanked him for helping entertain me for 4 years. My season tickets were in the old west upper deck so I never had the chance to “storm the field “ before that game. Lol
And yes, Slinger was CHS Class of ‘76.

Melvin Hill - QB (1997)
We also had a 5* DT in Chris Davenport who was horrible when he enrolled at LSU and ended up at Tulane

Blair Barbier. Went to elementary with him as well as high. He was good in 2nd grade.
I played with him in HS too!
We also had Raion Hill.

My school also,
I played baseball with Russ, (and some 1 pitch softball tournaments at the old Gator Park in Satsuma). Clint’s dad, Mike coached me in Babe Ruth All-Stars and I graduated with Ben’s wife Nicole.

I was a few years ahead of Ben, but as an basketball instructor for Coach Dodson and Coach Bailey basketball camps I had the honor of watching Ben play basketball in his early years. Russ lived behind the house I grew up in. My sister now owns the house after our parents passed and I see he has a training facility built which we can see from her backyard. I watched Clint play at North Park when he played with Coach Bailey's son Brett in-between the baseball games I coached at North Park. I even got Clint to sign a baseball for my son after they played at UT in Austin.
