A lot of these mid week games might be pitching one of their better pitchers compared to a LSU. They get a win over a power 5 team and it helps their RPI and it looks good on their resume in front of the selection committee. We have to take these games very seriously but it seems like we are not. We had our chance to blow this game wide open I'm the 7th, except we swung for the fences. And Pearson wasn't going to take an RBI walk. That was so selfish of him. JJ needs to sit/talk to him

Blame this on Yetski and Jay. I wouldn't trust Guidry past 2 innings. Why push him for 4 is unbelievable

Yep MLB pitchers that have confidence in their catcher to catch a ball that they bounce up there to get a swing changes a lot of things. Yes we have up too many walks, ump wasn't giving the low fast ball, all that hurt. Bid Bide put men in scoring position with his awful approach to catching

We need a Dylan Crews or a Tommy White.

No MLB team will touch Arambide. He doesn't know how to slide and block

I graduated high school at 128 pounds. I played 3 years of baseball and I hit a total of 4 home runs.. It happens. Put a good swing and get lucky and hit the sweet part of the bat. I outfield had allies of 359 feet, so it wasn't a small field. Noot would have been a hero if he would have struck him out. He didn't load the bases. SEC play starts in 2 weeks and some of these pitchers you are seeing now will only see the field in blowouts

They will just have to find a descent Tuesday pitcher. In fairness the home plate umpire had no established strike zone and when it looked like the Tigers were making a comeback the first base umpire had no business making that fair call. From all the angles it looked foul. I don't know if that is a reviewable play or not, but he should have asked the home plate umpire for help. He had a bad angle and just assumed. But also the Tigers left a lot of people on base. But give McNeece credit. They were pesky and LSU just needs to learn how to hit softy LH pitchers

Yep those 2 missed free throws at the end were huge. Make those and you are playing for the final shot to win the game

He needs lessons from Breed. He doesn't know how to step up in the pocket

If it's a disaster it's only because of the portal being open while the CFP is still going on. All 4 teams are at that disadvantage also
