I agree that it wouldn’t happen until next season. But couldn’t the SEC punish LSU by making them ineligible for the conference championship this year, thus eliminating the possibility of handing the trophy to CLK? Asking for a friend.

LSU should announce their intention to leave the SEC at the end of this season by going independent or joining another conference if Sankey isn’t immediately terminated. Make the announcement 30 minutes before the meeting tomorrow.

I want to see a smothering defense much like the Arnsparger years, 2003, 2007 & 2011. I want to see an offense that can run the ball with authority and create mismatches in the passing game. I want to see a team that consistently dominates inferior competition and battles toe to toe with the big dogs. But what I want to see most is “Just win, baby”!
This half empty stadium phenomenon was a rarity in the ‘70s and early ‘80s. I missed maybe a handful of games from ‘72-‘82. My uncle, my dad and I would wait until the stadium was pretty much cleared out after the clock ran out. Then sit in in the PAC parking lot with truck open, ice chest out and radio on with the postgame while watching the traffic dwindle. Good times. Miss those guys.

He’s 38. I’m 64. This is far from my first time tailgating. I know the proper etiquette. I bring my own beverages and chairs. I don’t show up hungry and expect to be fed. Just like meeting people that share my lifelong dedication to all things LSU. According to some I guess that makes me a weirdo.

Got two tickets to take my son to the game for his birthday. Wondering where all of the good people of TD will be setting up their tents. As of now we will be arriving at the softball field. Would be nice to stop by and introduce ourselves. GEAUX TIGAHS!

Time for 32-64 of the top athletic schools to break ties with the NCAA and conferences to form their own league. It’s about the only thing that makes sense anymore.

He 100% whiffed on his first statement. Time will tell, if he makes another attempt. I would think that the sooner he does it (again) and gets it right the better things will be between him and Tiger Nation.
