I’m in my mid twenties and from what I’ve seen myself I would say Florida. Obviously Alabama is a big game and a more recent rival. Ole Miss, Arkansas, A&M, and Auburn all have a storied past with us, so who do you think our #1 rival is?

I would be curious to see if you polled all the Bama roster as to what their most anticipated game on the schedule each year would be? I think LSU is more than 50%

I think the Bama players that are from the state would almost all pick Auburn, where majority from out of state would pick LSU.

We don't have a rivalry with any team that sees us as their biggest rival. Bama-Auburn, Moo State-Ole Miss, Florida has Georgia, Texas A&M would probably tell you Texas is still their biggest rival even though they haven't played in 10 years. I don't consider Arkansas to really be a rivalry anymore - not until they're back to consistently in contention to have 8-9 wins yearly.

Florida has been a great rivalry over the years. Amazing that they are in the SEC East yet we play them EVERY year!
Their fans are pretty obnoxious as well - especially when they WIN. They are very sore losers as well. Beating them in the SWAMP is always special!

Those were always good games. I wish they’d get back to a 7 to 8 win team.
And Petrino was a scumbag for sure but I miss that guy in the SEC.

true.... in the 50s and 60s. They haven’t been consistently relevant for 50 years. No longer a rival.

We don't really have a true rival anymore, which I think is kind of cool. Obviously in the past, it would be easy to point to either Ole Miss or Tulane. But now, you could ask 4-5 different LSU fans this question and get 4-5 different answers. I always just look at it as a hate hierarchy, so to speak. For me, it is as follows:

1a. Auburn
1b. Florida
2. Bama
3. Ole Miss

I can't say I have particularly strong feelings about any other SEC schools, at least not in football. I of course hate Kentucky basketball.
