I cant say who is the best without having era bias (Wendell Davis imo), but there is no doubt in my mind that Josh Reed had the best separation skills of anyone I have ever seen.

Top 10 since 2000 in order:
Jamar Chase
Josh Reed
Justin Jefferson
Malik Nabers
Michael Clayton
Jarvis Landry
OBJ
Dwayne Bowe
Brian Thomas Jr.
Rueben Randall
Honorable mentions:
DJ Chark
Buster Davis
Devery Henderson
Early Doucet
Brandon LaFell
No way Chark is on any list. Nor should Randle be on that list and LaFell is honorable mention. LaFell had one of the best careers ever.
Since 2000 WRs with more yards and tds than Chark :
Jenkins
Dural
Marshall
Dupre
Boutte
Toliver
Myers
Booty
Total Career yards. (Different offenses, done in 3 years opposed to 4) My favorite all time is Reed or Bowe, but the best ever for at least a season was Chase. Had he played that finally year he may have shattered every record, never to be touched.
Malik Nabers: 3,003 yards 21 Tds
Josh Reed: 3,001 yards 17 Tds
Wendell Davis: 2,708 yards 19 Tds
Eric Martin: 2,625 yards 14 Tds
Michael Clayton: 2,582 yards 21 Tds
Brandon LaFell: 2,517 yards 25 Tds
Justin Jefferson: 2,415 yards 24 Tds
Dwayne Bowe: 2,403 yards 26 Tds
Odell Beckham Jr.: 2,340 yards 12 Tds
Tony Moss: 2,196 yards 16 Tds
Buster Davis : 2,117 yards 7 Tds
Ja’Marr Chase : 2,093 yards 23 Tds
Andy Hamilton : 1,995 yards 18 Tds
Early Doucet : 1,943 yards 20 Tds
Todd Kinchen : 1,911 yards 10 Tds
Brian Thomas : 1,897 yards 24 Tds
Terrence Toliver : 1,820 yards 12 Tds
Jarvis Landry : 1,809 yards 15 Tds
Kayshon Boutte : 1,781 yards 16 Tds
Abram Booty : 1,768 yards 8 Tds
Larry Foster : 1,747 yards 12 TDS
Randle #25
Chark # 33
Henderson #34

Hard to argue with any of these names; LSU has never lacked top WR talent.
Maybe not the best, numbers wise, but so very good were receivers like: Eddie Kennison, Orlando McDaniel, Gerald Keigley, Jimmy Ledoux, Skylar Green, Junius Dural, Tony Moss, Eric Martin, Bret Bech, Wesley Jacobs, Alvin Lee, Tracy Porter, Rogie Magee, Scott Ray, Robert Dow, Mike Quintella.

List needs Andy Hamilton and Eric Martin

The passing game has changed so much it is almost unfair to compare guys from different eras. Teleport Bert Jones to 2019 with all the advancement of coaching, QB skills and receivers etc. That 2001 game at Bama by Josh Reed who was converted from RB was crazy. Still think the WR groups overall athleticism from 2019 and last season were likely the best in LSU history. Looking forward to watching Malik and BTJ in the NFL this fall.

Has anybody mentioned Reuben Randall?
He was better than lots of those mentioned, although he would not be in my top five.
He was very good.

Eddie Kennison was one of the most explosive WRs ever. Burrow could have thrown him free all night, every game. But he was kinda cuckoo.

Its Josh Reed then Chase IMO!!

We've been spoiled for the last 25yrs, especially. There are so many studs you could put on the list.
Josh Reed was that dude, for sure. He'd be on top of my list. But guys like Jefferson, Martin, Clayton, Chase were so damn clutch. You never doubted they would come through.

I'll vote for Chase.
Before recent years I used to say Wendell Davis.

I think Jarvis and OBJ would be higher on the list had they not played under Miles
Jarvis and OBJ were the first two teammates in SEC history to have 1100+ receiving yards in the same season, 2013 under Les. That has been repeated 3 times in the SEC since: Chase and Jefferson 2019, Nabers and Thomas, Jr 2023, and some other school once.
Best Tiger WR ever: I'll vote Chase, then Reed, then Nabers
*..and I'll go with that horizontal, diving, left-handed, rip-the-ball-from-the-DB catch by Jarvis against Arky as the best catch (Mettenberger's unfortunate knee might not agree with me).

This one is Uber difficult.
I idolized Wendell. 2 time first team AA. Hard to compare numbers from old school “Pre Spurrier” era of cfb, but he was a superstar.
Josh Reed carried the team in so many huge moments. Everyone knew they were going to him when they needed a play and yet, there he was. Open. Catch. Belitnikoff.
Don’t know that I’ve seen better hands than OBJ. Not just those 2 Arkansas catches, but his technique with always using hands out with extended arms. If I was coaching someone on how to fundamentally catch a ball, I’d put on a juice tape.

Are you possibly referring to Jarvis's two circus catches against Arkansas? The TD and the one-handed diving catch from Mettenberger. Otherwise help my memory, please.
