Don't want to "avoid" anyone.

But personally, UF road trip sucks.

Bama is 55-27 all-time against LSU.

LSU won't be able to even that out unless Bama is on the schedule.

am i the only person who saw the article on nola.com that it’s been leaked and it’s Bama, Ole Miss, and A&M? confused why we’re speculating when it’s been leaked and seems obvious anyway.

I don’t want permanent opponents. I want an equal rotation for everyone. That is the best way to determine a true champion. The real and imagined rivalries can still be maintained Although they may not play every year they will play often enough.

I’d hate to have Vandy. As a fan you want the better schedule every year. I’d rather ATX than Ole Miss. better road trip.

Florida…..Gainesville is a cool town….but their tailgating and liquor laws are horrible…..overall the fans are rudest in the SEC…..
Always happy to see the gators lose…..

Auburn, Georgia and Alabama. To be the best you must beat the best.

I don't want permanent opponents on the new format, but if that's the reality of it I want traditional SEC schools. Alabama, Auburn, and Florida works for me. Aggy, UT. and OU can kick rocks.

LSU didn’t even take FB serious until 2000. Also LSU has beat Bama 2 out of the last 4.

I always thought the permanent opponent leads to an unbalanced schedule and hated it for that reason. but looking back over the last 2 decades, the Lsu/Florida series has had some epic games that have helped Lsu exposure -which played a large part in our climb up the cfb ladder. Look at teams that play nobody’s all season and their program becomes stale and boring .
Playing in big games on prime time with gameday on campus is what makes guys want to play here. Not going undefeated vs cupcakes.

On that note, I would miss the Auburn game every year. Of all the big games we play that one delivers the most excitement.

A school that has another in state school in the SEC.

So, I basically want Arky or Florida for sure.

Avoid AL, TX and MS schools unless we go four permanent opponents.

I don’t think it really matters because you will be playing everyone at least every other year.

That’s the attractive thing to me about Texas and Oklahoma coming aboard and a ninth conference game.

It may not mean much to us, but it means a hell of a lot to the MANNINGs , this rivalry and beat down is why we have NO shot at getting any of those ancestors of the Original Archie Manning.

Pretty sure all of Archie’s ancestors are super dead at this point and ineligible.

As a LSU fan, I don’t have any program that I want to play every year. I would prefer playing the other 15 future schools evenly. We can schedule by alternating rank.

But I understand that some schools want to play a or some traditional rivals every year. I think it should be put to a vote of SEC programs and majority rules.

If permanent opponents are chosen, and 3 are to be scheduled, I think that the top programs should play 2 top programs and 1 lower team. And the bottom programs should play two bottom programs and one top school.

They should be ranked on all time winning percentages.

Top 8:
Alabama .732
Oklahoma .725
Texas .701
Tennessee .672
Georgia .663
LSU .653
Florida .628
Auburn .626

Bottom 8:
Texas A&M .604
Arkansas .578
Ole Miss .548
Missouri .543
South Carolina .510
Kentucky .502
Mississippi State .495
Vanderbilt .485
