Who could talk JD into doing something this stupid?

disclaimer - i wanted Nuss to replace JD the year he had his breakout season, and I was wrong. I didn't think he would improve as a passer and he turned into a great college qb. I wanted him to come back for his last year, but of course, the dinero was calling.
Why would he do something this stupid? He could still make it go away and I'd be fine, and I think everyone else would be fine, too.
Petty and selfish move, JD - we're still proud that you were a tiger, Jayden. that goodwill is not something to throw away for nothing.

I can’t believe Daniels would make it all about him. I really thought he was carefree.
This wouldn’t happen at any other school. I truly believe that. Manziel doesn’t care when people wear 2 at A&M. I doubt Winston cares if someone at FSU wears whatever number he wore in college.
It’s crazy to me Daniels camp is making a stink about this.

No doubt they all thought it was going to be a worse PR nightmare for LSU. But that is why it was such a short sided emotional decision. That will tarnish everything he accomplished here.

He has not destroyed his name and image; he has modified it .
In a very damaging way and with his most loyal group of supporters.
Even from a strictly business point of view, this is destructive to Jayden's good will with fans and this ego-centric move will even hurt him with his NFL fans.
This should have never happened with sound business management.
