Keys has Weeks coaching from the side line. Let Weeks get healed.

Keys is very good against the run, very bad in coverage
Could be a big issue considering Bama loves to use their tight ends in the passing game .

Putting beneifeld at the other LB spot on passing downs to man the TE is an easy adjustment. We did this vs miss state and moved woodland inside and Put ja’keem Jackson opposite of Pickett

Benefield can spy. I understand the concern with Keys covering their TEs, but that isn't always just a black and white TEs v LBs game. Pressure on the QB, disguised coverage, use other schemes/personnel in passing downs, etc. We're going to be fine. I'm ready to see Whit back but we're going to be fine. Stop the run, pressure the QB, don't let them hit on the deep balls and explosives. It's about damn time we get some big turnovers, too.

One bad play. He’s even rock solid
Wtf have you been watching? Keys is the clear liability on the defense

Keys was AWFUL vs Kentucky. Didn’t really notice him since which is a good thing but hopefully he brings his A game Saturday night.

Russell averages 3.8 yards per carry which includes a 57 yard run. I don't understand the fear.
He’s been sacked a good bit. His sack adjusted rushing stats come out to 8.9 YPC. For comparison, Leavitt’s sack adjusted rushing stats come out to 6.3 YPC

They don't have to. Keys spying is suicide. Bama will carve us up if that's your spy. They will need to play more 3 S sets. Jhase is a very capable S. Throwing Keys out there as your spy is beginning for a repeat of what happened against Reed on Baker's defense before this season. Front should be teeing off because he can't handle pressure as he has shown countless times this year being a young QB.

I get what you’re saying but when Keys gets matched up on a TE or RB out of the backfield, having Whit coaching from the sideline isn’t going to help much

I love the people saying next man up acting like this is all just gonna be fine. Let’s just pray Russell and Alabama doesn’t destroy the middle of the field all game because Keys is inept and constantly out of position. The difference between Keys playing and Weeks playing in a game like this makes all the difference in the world. Im sure gonna hate watching Russell convert crucial downs for big yardage up the middle or TDs because Keys is nowhere on the tv screen on the replay. I wished they’d stick Singleton out there honestly.

Why would you remove his sack yardage when that's their biggest weakness and LSUs biggest strength?

Needs to come off the field in 3rd and long situations. Full stop. That's the post

It seemed like a stretch for him to be ready that soon.

He might play next week
Even if they hold him out next week, I like our chances at home. Get him back by UTk and get ready for a playoff run!

Tennessee was always the true target date. From someone that has had that injury and several other knee, ankle, foot injuries. Those last 2 weeks make so much of a difference in how you feel with soreness and swelling plus range of motion. This is why I think Trey’Dez is going to have a big game after getting 2 weeks from the Auburn game. He’s gonna be ready to ball.
The ideal to me has always been 50-70% of snaps against Tennessee, rest Arkansas week, and then play SEC title or get even more rest until first round. He’d be in really good shape for playoff games.

Why do I see his belly button?

I’m removing it strictly when talking about Keelon’s ability to run. LSU’s DL definitely has an advantage over Bama’s OL. I’m just saying Keelon is a better runner than his stats appear, if he can get away from the pass rush.
