re: Where is the relative weakness on this LSU offense?

I’d say you hit it on the head. It’s TE simply because of the youth there. But talent or ability there is no weakness imo.
Now they still all have to prove it on the field but that’s it. I think the OL, QB, WR, TE and RB rooms all have two deeps that could start in the SEC on any team and that’s where you really would like to be.
It’s the most versatile offense on paper that I’ve ever seen at LSU, that includes Nick Saban. I think the defense is coming along as well. We have much more depth now but can those two deep players cause problems for an offense? I think we’ll need this season for that to come to fruition but I also believe it’s going to happen.

Not sure why you got so many downvotes
I think they missed this part:

I think he'll be just fine at that.

The only relative weakness I see is O-line up the middle. So goes the running game
This I agree with.

I hope it isn’t but we have not had a decent Center since Posic.

If Daniels does turn the corner, it's going to be huge for the coaching staff. Daniels has the potential to be a massive proof statement for Kelly. I think he's going to do it.

This is his money year. We'll get the best version of Daniels that exists.

Center is definitely the weak link of the offense. The weak link of the team is secondary. If they had Johnson healthy and Harris wasn’t deep in the dog house I’d feel a lot better. Think a big athletic safety would do them good too.

Not reading all that but it’s RB.

I still need to see us move a competent interior DL with our Center/Guards especially in short yardage situations
Objectively, most opposing DCs aren’t going to be scared of Turner/Delli/Frazier in the inside run game or short yardage.

The 2019 offense was obviously better. But this year we probably have the second best offense at LSU in quite some time. Just my opinion.

The only time you “fell for the hype” was on Heard. He might be great, and I’m glad we got him, but when you say he “would start right now for lots of teams” that’s hype.
Otherwise you are right on, and the same analysis is true of defense. We have a great and deep front seven, with very good safeties and lots of good, not great, corners plus an NFL ready Duce Chestnut.
This team is loaded and will go as far as Daniels takes them. If he is good enough LSU will be hoisting the trophy next winter.

Between JD and Nuss the QB position is going to rock. I think the talent level of both means that the leash is going to be pretty short. If JD has a bad day it won't last too long before Nuss comes (same for Nuss). The odds that both JD and Nuss have bad days at the same time is pretty slim.
O-Line is tremendous and there's enough depth that it can even withstand a significant loss to injury. It won't be a good thing, but the drop off won't kill us. We had some trouble running it last year, but that was when JD wasn't throwing it and the safeties pulled up. That shouldn't be as much of a concern this year.
I don't think TE is going to be a weakness. I'm not concerned with depth because we have young ones (Pimpton in particular) that are tearing shite up.
WR is not going to be a weakness. There are too many good ones fighting for playing time.
RB seems to be the weakness, but I have a feeling it isn't going to stay that way. I expect it work by committee, but I think Diggs is going to be better than people expect. Williams is going to continue to get the tough yards. I wouldn't be surprised to see Goodwin have a breakout year. I think once Diggs and Williams soften the defense up, Goodwin will come in and hit some big runs.
I'm all in. I'm drinking the kool-aid. I think this is going to be a very good year.

Our weakness on this team is depth in the secondary. From my armchair anyways

Because Daniels has the third best Heisman odds and is clearly a huge strength of this team?

JD & Nuss won't be rotating series & playing tag team, who’s got the “Hot Hand” at QB today.
Short of JD getting hurt & being unavailable to play, Nuss will be relegated to mopping up after JD has steamrolled the opponent!

Hence the phrase "relative weakness".
