There is no physical weakness in this offense. All of it, every bit of it will be if JD can get us into the proper alignment and deliver the intermediate/deep ball. Period. End of story. The O line is finally a strength. Maybe depth would be a concern if there were any injuries but that's about it. TE, WR are a plethora of talent and we are 8 deep at RB. 2-3 will rise to the challenge. With injuries maybe 4-5. Really he only ? on this team will be at DB and more from a depth aspect than a talent aspect. I think ST will be a plus this year and hopefully Anderson will be a huge threat on PR's. Gonna be a fun year with even more to look forward to next 2 years as these guys mature.

You got all those RB’s AND Daniels who is electric when he runs. Hard to argue its as a soft spot for sure.

We literally have one tightend with actual sec experience and yet people still think the QB is the weakness.

Going into last year the only TE with SEC experience was that skinny guy.

The QB touches the ball every snap. If he's not going to connect with receivers he's a weakness, as he was in many games last year.

Nobody is as important as the QB.

WTF you think QB is a weakness? Well, o.k…. I would say unknown for any position because they haven’t played a snap. Geez it all on paper as for first team the weakest link is O-C/G. Now when you go reserves it is debatable. RB to me is not a problem to me. Last year we couldn’t get the D off the field in close games and the interior OL struggled. You only had to watch game #1 to see it. It got better but wasn’t outstanding

Let me know when he can consistently complete passes over the middle and hit WRs in stride.

That would be last season.

we have not had a decent Center since Posic.

Lloyd Cushenberry is currently starting in the NFL and did so the first game of his rookie season.

It’s amazing that the best offensive line in the nation, and the best in the history of LSU, is so under appreciated by LSU fans. Most LSU fans think our 2019 line was just average and was made to look good by Burrow and Clyde. But four of our offensive lineman won starting jobs in the NFL for the first game of their rookie seasons! That line wasn’t just good; it was GREAT!

Weakness will be the D. DBs and lack of solid DL depth. We need McKinley and one more DL

From a personnel standpoint, it's hard to find a definite weakness. The offense as a whole needs to be better at producing explosive plays and finishing drives. Last year LSU racked up plenty of yards, but it never made it seem easy. A lot of that will hinge on Daniels's ability to find the open receivers, and I think he'll be much more comfortable in the pocket this year with LSU's returning line.

Also worth noting is that LSU was 6th in the nation last year in terms of getting into the Red Zone but 48th in Red Zone %. Can't leave points on the field when you're that close.

But how long into the FSU game will it take before we all start bitching about play calling? Denbrock seems to call a conservative but efficient offense.

The only time you “fell for the hype” was on Heard. He might be great, and I’m glad we got him, but when you say he “would start right now for lots of teams” that’s hype

Reports today suggest Emery Jones, who is a quality SEC starter at offensive tackle by all accounts, might be moving inside to guard to make room for Heard at right tackle.

Maybe I didn’t fall for the hype after all if Heard, as a true freshman, is beating out a quality SEC starting tackle like Emery Jones.

From all I have read, Heard is a stud even as a freshman, much like Will Campbell. I know he doesn’t lack confidence as I recall him being quoted as him expecting to beat our Will Campbell at left tackle. It’s bold talk, but not if he can back it up.

I think it's just the staff tinkering and getting Heard extra reps. Not Jones being pushed for a starting job.

What worries me worse in this shuffle is that they don't seem confident in Frazier.
