may not be in the top 5, but got to throw Louis Coleman some love for carrying the 2009 team to a championship.

First three-quarters of a season Ryan Eades was untouchable. Tired Ryan Eades, not so much.

He signed a baseball by the bullpen wall/seats after LSU beat CSF (Mar 2011) when he was the SP. Nice guy. My son still has that ball. He is certainly pitching well over the last few seasons.

If it makes you feel any better Jared was fricking everything he could. We had a mutual friend and he would brag constantly.

A lot of baseball guys were legit good dudes. Mason Katz and Mikie Mahtook were great guys.

Beau Didier and Jared were kind of bitches tbh.

Gausman was a very good pitcher, probably as much talent as anyone. However he wasn't consistent enough. I would rank Lange higher without question. I hate ranking the one year players, but Peever had as good of a season as Skenes has had, he just doesn't look as dominant. If I had to put a pitcher out for one game, it's hard to leave Ogea out too, he shined the brightest in big games.

As stated, I'm sure glad our discussion on best pitcher can go this deep.

He struck out a career high of 13 last night. My top 5 of all-time right now in order are:
1)McDonald
2)Nola
3)Skenes
4)Gausman
5)Poche

Love Poche but he's nowhere near the top 5 arms that have come through here

We only had Gausman for two years and I don't remember it being a dominant fr year
This is by far his best MLB season to date
Not sure why the Orioles gave up on him to begin with

I love the kid, but he's not even top 10 IMO.

There is a big difference between arms and pitchers. A lot of great arms are lousy pitchers. Poche was an outstanding college pitcher.

Broussard was a cole Cat he came to one of our Crawfish boils we threw at the house since he lived down the street. Cotton pissed off a lot our female friends but was pretty cool to have Broussard come and shoot the shite and then had a giant basketball tournament at the church down the street. Still pissed they took down the hoop a few years later.

Jared Foster always gave off movie villain or basic bully vibes. Always felt like he probably started a lot of fights against frat kids that he knew he could beat the shite out of over dumbshit like "disrespect".

Solid baseball player though.

Because he was about to hit his contract year and the Orioles are ... how to put this ... not that bright an organization.

He was. Greg Smith had pretty good stuff as a lefty as well.
