We always go to 2 home games a year. One SEC game that just the wife and I go to, and one rent a win where we take both the kids and usually a couple of there friends.
2019 Florida was special because day before wife got sick. Woke up game day and she no way she could go. I remember going in and waking my son up and letting him know he was on deck. Talk about fired up. He and I went down, met up with some friends of mine. One of my buddies knew a chick that worked for the local Budweiser distributor and they had a huge tailgate going on. Now I’m not stupid and know that son had drank beer before but it was the first time he got to drink out in public with the old man. We had the best pastalaya I’ve ever had at the tailgate and then was able to witness that glorious beat down of Florida with my boy.
Truly on if the best days of my life. Sucks my wife had to be sick for it to happen. She watched the game on TV and was super pissed she missed it.

It wasn’t. That was in 2016.

There was something special about the early 2000's LSU-Florida games, I guess after the beating we took in the 90's made those 2000's era games special.

Even though the actual game sucked the best pregame atmosphere I’ve ever seen in TS was bama 2018. Stadium was completely full 45 minutes before kickoff and everybody in the stadium was on their feet.

Great atmosphere, don't know where it would rank, but nothing as come close to '79 USC...
If they are not old enough to remember they just wouldn’t believe. LSU was robbed in that game late.
Before the game there were hundreds and hundreds of Trojan Condoms inflated with Helium and Pop the Trojans written on them.
The atmosphere was one of the best.
LSU vs Nebraska to open the season when Nebraska was #1 and the game ended 6-6 with LSU kicking a field goal from the 2 yard line. It was also unreal. That was the 1st game we heard the “LSU,LSU,LSU” chant.
LSU vs FSU with the winner going to the Orange Bowl. Eric Martin and Alan Risher with the Bomb early in the 3rd Qtr was unreal. Remember the Oranges? Dalton Hilliard and the Referee getting hit by an orange? The Crowd got penalized for delay of game and threw more oranges than before. Lol.

Don't sleep on 2001 Auburn. Game was rescheduled to December, we win and it's our first trip to Atlanta. Then there was the pregame fight, the onside kick, and the band fight.

Florida 2007 was Tiger Stadium at its peak, but this one is high on the list.

One of the best nights in recent years. Great game and cool weather.

2003 Georgia
2007 Florida
2012 Bama
Are all in their own stratosphere but '19 Florida is in the next catagory
People underestimated how talented that team was with Kyle Trask, Kyle Pitts, Van Jefferson and Kadarius Toney
Man when Jamar caught the wheel it was amazing

Man I thought Marcel Brooks was going to be special for us
Bo Pelini tried to force his 4/3 and wanted Marcel to gain weight and become a mike
fricking dumb, a blind man could see his advantage is his speed. O cost himself his job trying to force his scheme on that roster.
Same way Les did with offense, O did with defense. Should have evolved or at least utilized his roster to maximize your advantage

The reason why it won' rival some of the bests is because generally, LSU fans never felt they would lose.
For Tiger Stadium to be at it's best three things need to be there and no, a night game is not one of them.
-The game has to mean something and needs to be against a quality opponent.
-There has to be a general feeling of concern in the stands that LSU very well might lose the game.
-The game has to be close late in the 4th quarter

That's exactly what those votes tell you! And no one who was there would think otherwise.

"OO-ee-oo, you suck, oooo-ee-oo."
Stadium was rocking well after the clock struck 0:00.
It was a classic ending to a great game by JB and our Tigers!

I can’t believe 82 FSU game has only one mention. Oranges and drinks were thrown everywhere.

I was at both, and 97 FL, and most of the others that pop up in similar discussions - 1979 USC remains the best atmosphere for any sporting event I ever attended anywhere.
