The LSU offense in the Florida game was enough to sicken even the least squeamish. Fortunately the defense balled out that night.

You knew it was a rough night when CBK teed off on a reporter after the game.

Florida. La Tech put up plenty of red flags but after Florida I knew we would lose at least 4 games.

The 2024 Nicholls game. We couldn’t run against fricken Harvard on the Bayou. In no universe should an SEC school not own the line of scrimmage vs Nicholls.

Yet on here there were a bunch of BK defenders talking about the novelty of Nicholls’ unique scheme. GTFO with that.

Knew we were cooked then.

Anyone wanna explain why we would the HC of the ole miss vs lsu game?

Clemson was Fool’s Gold. I had no idea they were that bad

Tech I rationalized as a let down game after the big opening win bs Clemson

Florida raises some concerns but they are an SEC team with a decent defense.

Then there was no hiding it after SELA. When the were getting pressure with a 3 or 4 man front and beating our O line with basic twists and stunts, I knew the best case possible was only 3 losses

When they couldn't run the ball against USC last year in Vegas, particularly after all the shite they talked before the game about running the ball.

^^^ X1000. I remember flying out there thinking we might be good and when we started playing I kept thinking that any minute now we’ll break this offense loose. I waited and waited and was still waiting Saturday night.
Brian Kelly still owes me my money back from Vegas.

Started at the La Tech game, then was solidified when we could not run the ball against Ole Miss rushing just 3-4, and getting to us!

Yall may call bullshite, but I noticed in the Clemson game. Aside from one or two drives, the offense just looked like nobody out there was having fun, and everything looked extremely difficult.

You’re spot on. Team has been dreadful in short yardage situations since BK took over if folks have been paying attention. Not being able to pick up 1 yard when you need it is a good indicator of an inept offense. JD5 masked a lot of it, but the wheels fell off this season.

Easily the LaTech game.
I understand that Nuss was injured but that doesn't excuse the putrid OL play; crappy scheme and game planning; the RB and WR rotations; or why we had to rely on Bauer Sharp.
However I threw in the towel on the Kelly era after Ole Miss. They dropped 8 in coverage at time and dared us to run and we couldn't. Although TOP wasn't awful the defense still became gassed. It highlighted everything that was wrong with Kelly: bad roster management, terrible coaching hires and awful player development.
Of course Vanderbilt was the icing on the cake. We had to rely on a fluke TD pass for one score and TOP again wrecked the D which seemed to be at a loss for defending Pavia or the TE.
