"If we got eleven, we gonna play" is an underrated moment in LSU football history.

Who was it that said "We'll play them in a gravel parking lot" ? Was it Burrow? And what was the context/ who were they talking about?

Is this why Piggies had ManBoobs Pittman as their coach?
FFS, Tx Gay&M made commemorative cups for winning an OT game; Lord knows what they’ll do for making the playoffs

That’s what y’all said about BK. Then you melted everytime that “one of us” was replaced

Harlem will now feast in the new Kiffin offense. I’m looking forward to that! He didnt get too much action out the backfield this year, but

When reading the accolades and evaluations on Berry, the thing that intrigued me the most was “ excellent route-runner and receiver, could start at WR for many programs”… I think he had a TD or two on long bomb catches in a all-star game?

The fact that we could NOT run the ball, yet could not conceive of a way to get him the ball in space, was extremely frustrating…

I don’t think LK will have that problem!

The school enrollment papers or the NIL papers?

Ole Miss is on the mind of LSU fans a lot during the year

Only to check if they’re still in hell, where we sent them…
How many times do I have to remind you people -
…that the last Mike to attend games used to LOVE getting in his travel trailer-it was a break from the cage monotony, like a dog getting excited for a ride in the car- he was eager to take a ride, see the sights….
… UNTIL THEY STARTED SHOOTING THOSE FIREWORKS RIGHT NEXT TO HIM!!
Explosions and fires are scary, even to tigers… after a couple of tins he would not get in the travel trailer anymore. His handlers KNEW it was the fireworks that scared him; if the idiots insisting on shooting fireworks would’ve just moved them to the other freaking end of the field INSTEAD OF IN TWO ROWS RIGHT UP AGAINST THE TIGER CAGE, FFS…. we would STILL have our Tiger on the field and then parked outside the visitors’ locker room
for games. TRUE STORY!

I would gladly trade not having ten seconds of fireworks display for preserving our tradition of having our Tiger at home games, and nobody could say it was animal abuse if the Tiger wanted to go….

Maybe you should look back fondly on your elementary school grammar book
Derek Stingley, Leonard Fournette, Russel Sheppard, Early Doucet, Ruben Randle, Ryan Perriloux, Patrick Peterson… that’s all I got w/o Googling…
Oh and Lamar Brown if he signs.

When the pros talked about it on ESPN and he didnt get anyone to agree with him on Kiffin he looked upset.

When Stephen A Smith was on a roll, verbally bitch-slapping him in a loud voice, he looked scared to interrupt him like he does others , & like he wanted to cry…

It was glorious

So you used the same word to mean two completely different things?

This is English, there’s plenty of word choices ; you can pick other words to say what you mean
Devin White did OK when they finally talked him into trying LB cuz he was a little too big & chunky for RB…

Boosters that would normally be paying players that money in any other situation

Can’t we send them to get a haircut in Amite if the NIL budget gets tight?

Top Defenses 2025

Are there any formulas for rating defensive efficiency, say, similar to a QBR- type number?
Maybe a “yards allowed per possession” stat?
Or taking TOP into account?

If your offense has a whole bunch of 3&outs, you’re gonna give up a lot more yds than if you could keep the ball longer…doesn’t mean your D is worse, just your O sucks…

Note how many Top 20 D’s have winning records-
How many are ball control types, win the TOP stats, or how many are high-scoring and force the opponent to play catch-up? If you are leading the whole game your rushing D stats get better and better, not because you can stop the run, but time dictates the opponent has to throw…

Some defense stats can be misleading- like, if you have the worst pass defense in the country then your rushing stats will look good because everybody throws against you….

How complicated would it be to calculate a defensive efficiency rating? Take into account TOP, opponents’ possessions per game, scoring differential per possession (less credit for low rushing yds in 4thQ when leading late, or for low passing yds surrendered when opponent has big lead and is killing the clock, etc)), more credit weighted to forcing 3&out when needed, less credit for giving up 1st downs when you need the ball back, etc, etc…

Somebody write a formula up and get AI to crunch the numbers!
