grats on dodging a bullet. I promise that date would have been 2 hours of her talking about her sign, being a fur mama, and conveying the idea that engaging in fall activities is a personality trait.

You are all idiots and making dumb arse excuses so you don’t have to face reality.

The reason she stood you up is because her booty call showed up and had sex with her while you ate your dinner alone.

I think that I am going to apply to be a certified bachelor for laugh because American women are getting more and more insufferable.

I've never been stood up in my life.

That's a real thing?

Nowadays, you have to make the date spontaneous, so it's either yes or no, with no out. If they are the planning type, they will suggest another time, if they like you.

If they've only met you once, like at a bar or a party, or if you got matched via a dating app, and you are unfamiliar, women can get cold feet. Although being stood up is a sign that you need to move on, it's not abnormal for them to politely cancel. If you are smooth, it's no big deal. You can meet later once she gets to know you better.

She either pulled a Joe Fox or she's empowered and doesn't have to put manners, decency or other people's feelings over her own vibe.

Are you strong enough to be her man?

Yes it does but the alternatives ain’t any. One of my nurses tried to set me up with her friend from church who turned out to be an ultra religious (34 years old who claims to be waiting for marriage) strange girl. Her anxiety was so bad that she would spend all day baking or preparing stuff for church the next day only to throw it away because she got nervous that people at church would not like it. When it did not work out my nurse got mad at me for not being more understanding of her needs.

Truth.

We need to normalize telling average women they are average.

Nope. She confirmed that she decided over an hour before the date that she was not going and didn’t let me know.

ETA: Forgot to mention that she sent nudes before not showing.

when they started telling women to act like men. They have a distorted view of all men based on a few men.

and how did you respond to that? I assume you told her that her behavior was not acceptable to you and to lose your number?

Women always have other options and sounds like she found what she thought was a better one on your date night. Consider it a bullet dodged.

I edited my OP, but will add it here.

Plot twist: The nudes weren't actually of her so she couldn't show up because of that.

She probably isn't attracted to you or some other guy who is more attractive gave her some attention.

Consider it a good omen, you could of wasted a lot of time on girl who wasn't into you and would string you along. Better that than spending hundreds of dollars on dates.

I can tell you as a single mid 40's guy that it is absolutely pointless to try to date in this age bracket now. Every average looking woman has had their egos inflated so much by social media that they're deserving of a millionaire soap opera actor or doctor that will spoil her and her 3 bastard children. They don't show up to see if you have anything in common with her, they show up to scrutinize your life to see if you're "good enough". I gave up trying to date - it was really just a waste of time, energy, and money. If I die alone, so be it - at least I'll have some peace and quiet.
