What’s with all the intimidation speech?

“Jay better do this! This is inexcusable.”
“Jay needs to own this. What a failure! He better find a new pitching coach!”
“What Jay has done is unacceptable!”
Every weekend, the team shits the bed. It sucks to watch, but even Jay owned it. Yet here we are, and the same rantards start dumb shite with these “or else” statements. Can you guys provide some substance with your bitching? If you think he needs to can Yeskie, fine. Since you think he reads the Rant, why don’t you throw some names out there to help? Maybe you can meet up at the facility and discuss hitting strategy.
At this point, we are what we are. At absolute best, we sneak in by winning out and doing damage in Hoover. Even then, it’s not like this team is going far. I appreciate the effort by some of the guys, but it wasn’t in the cards, and Jay, moreso than anybody on here, has the want to rectify the situation.

Thank you for actually writing something intelligent.

It’s crazy to think we began the year number 2 in the nation.

It is Tiger Rant. The home of the delusional tiger fan.
At least LSU has won every now and then over the last 20 years; therefore, an expectation of a championship is not absolutely insane like a Dallas Cowboys fan.

As far as I know, no one here is the highest paid coach in college baseball being paid over $3 million a year to put a completitive baseball team on the field. Missing the tournament in any given year is unacceptable at LSU. If you want to defend it then why don't you provide some substance as to why it is acceptable in your mind. He gets the credit for his accomplishments. He also gets the blame for the piss poor product he has put on the field this year.

Love the site but clicking on this page this baseball season has been rough. I agree with the OP. Jay has won 2/3 NC and has earned alot of rope…its just unfortunate that people expect Natty’s every season. Was this a down year…absolutely and unexpected, but I have faith he will get it turned around rather quickly. shite happens.

The same people did the same things both years they end up winning the championship. It doesn’t mean anything. They are retards

The rant is full of tards.

They are stupid and trolls

Most people like that never played ball in their lives. Just bandwagon trolls

And the same blowhards reply with the same comments.

Jay is more focused on his next career steps than LSU. His performative 30+ minute postgame players meeting on the field last night didn't do shite except bring attention to himself.
This team is it what it is. No speech is going to fix them and he knows that.

A poll based on what you did last year and what your recruiting/portal ranking looks like had the defending national champ with a highly ranked recruiting class near the very top? Amazing
And meaningless, as naysayers like yourself point out every year when people get excited about it early in the season or in preseason.

I don’t know, but it’s weird.
Some really would rather just be consistently good, but never win it all. I can take down years off Natties as long as they get right back up again and they have.
I can’t imagine anyone else you would rather have off a disappointing season to be your head coach. I remember the look Jay had after losing to USM. I didn’t even know a lot about him at the time, but he looked like a man who was about to go on a mission to get things right. And he did. And then he proved it again after 24, but people still act like this.

I remember some people really hating Jay in 23. I never understood it.
It’s a disappointing season, but I can’t imagine wanting anyone else to correct it. Jay is relentless. He’s shown multiple times to comeback better.
