What’s the Democrat plan to lower fuel costs, housing costs and interest rates?

I hear a lot of Trump hate, impeachment, etc., but no solutions to problems.

By the way, I think for the Rs to win the WH in 28, they need to lose the House.

Hopefully nothing.

Hopefully get the frick out of the way and stop meddling in it.

That's what government's role should be in those things.

I heard Joe Walsh (former Tea Party guy with TDS now) on a pod the other day and he said ME war, tariffs, and deportations was always going to damage the economy. I'm pro-deportation, but maybe he has a point on the other items.

Well step 1 is a layup, cancel Trumps ridiculous trade war.

We accomplished nothing and put upward price pressure on all kinds of stuff. They’ll probably campaign on that in the 2028 cycle.

So resume allowing everyone to buttfrick us.

Biden had worse inflation and no trade war.

So you will expand the deficit/debt.
In so doing you'll replace a deflationary pressure with an inflationary one.

Well done!

The democrat party is sold on the WEF plan which is globalism.
The solution you think they seek does not exist.
They are going to bleed the middle class via gas prices, higher taxes, retarded programs that "help" the poor etc.
The long game is to have the gen pop on the govt's teet.

The best chance for them to win in 28 is if prices are still high and people are pissed at Republicans. No chance they do anything to lower prices.

At the same time they run on increasing corporate tax rates? Surely nobody would be dumb enough to vote for that would they?

They don't have one. All of their plans would raise prices.

Tax the rich people and give a $500 check to the poor people.

Tax the rich.

Except, of course, the ones who finance all their campaigns and corruption.

Cloward-Piven Strategy of the 60’s. Overload the budget with hand outs. The open borders was a big chess move. Anti - fossil fuel strategies to drive up the cost of EVERYTHING.

The Democrats have no plans to lower costs. They want civil unrest.

Tariffs have always been folly and guaranteed to drag the economy.

But that's the only unforced error of the three.

The other two are unfortunate consequences of necessary actions. Two things can be true at once. You can be pro-deportation, for example, and still admit that it has some relatively minor negative consequences.

The shame of the whole thing is how short people's attention spans are.

People act like "the economy" is nearing Depression levels. Compared to every administration's economy going back to Nixon, it's pretty average. Not as good as the Clinton years, not as bad as the Carter years, not as strong a recovery as Reagan and Obama, no big collapses like the end of the Bush & Nixon years, moderate inflation, but not as much as the Biden or Carter years.

It's frankly quite unremarkable compared with every administration in my lifetime.

But people only remember the past year and believe the media's completely fabricated "affordability crisis." And that includes most posters here.
