My grandmother used to play if all the time. I figured it was an old lady thing.

Apparently it keeps the mind real sharp- glad they are doing that instead of playing on Facebook

I've been wondering this as well as it's gone through a historical rise in terms of people playing in the Gulf coast area of Mississippi.

I don't get it because I thought it was just for old Asian ladies...

there are so many other better games to play

Ski free, hover, pinball, chips challenge, and pipe dream were all superior.

I don't know. It's the latest fade with all the women in Lafayette. It used to be a game for elderly Asian people.

Is that from that movie ‘Crazy Rich Asians’? If so some middle aged “influencer” probably watched it on a flight and posted about itnow they all copy it but with box wine.

I don’t know but my dad was in the military and we lived in the Philippines in the early 70s. I was too young to remember anything about it but apparently they learned to play there. I do remember when I was a bit older they would play with friends regularly. But it was a coupes thing, not just the wives. I probably still have the game set somewhere in their things.
