.500 would be fantastic. I wouldn’t count on it though

Wrong. See above. Finished 9-9 in year 5. In fact, after winning the league, he finished lower in each of the following 3 seasons.

Year 2 1st place
Year 3 T-2nd
Year 4 3rd
Year 5 T-5th

Damn!! sucks that a bad year is T-5 and a trip to the ncaa tournament.

It’s not just about record. They could go 6-12 in conference and if they are competitive and are in nearly every game that would show significant improvement. If they go 6-12 and most of those 12 aren’t competitive then I’d be really concerned.

We got a healthy infusion of winning basketball on this team, Daimion Collins, Jordan Wright and (possibly) Jalen Cook join a solid nucleus of proven talent. I think you'll be surprised as the season progresses.

Get the right coach in here and he will have a top 5 recruiting class by year 2 and boom.

Mcmeh didn’t do that

Based on 1 year and 2 years of recruiting, middle of the pack\.500% winning record is the ceiling.

Yeah. We we got lucky and won the flu game at Ark. Last year could have easily been an 8-4 year. Especially with the inconsistent offense

LSU got lucky and won the west last year and to compare McMahon to JJ and Mulkey shows how ridiculous the people who post on here are. Mulkey was HOF coach that we hired and LSU baseball is one of the premier programs in the country. The stupidity amazes me.

And those other schools that didn’t need 3-4 years? You know the ones that made the tournament?

LSUMBB should be at least 9-9 in the SEC every year, IMO.

As a longtime (47 years) season ticket holder, I will give a pass to CMM for last year and this season. But in 24-25 we need to be at least 9-9 in the SEC and moving forward in the program.

KenPom has us 47 I think so I'll be happy with 18-12. I think we'll be worse than that ranking but getting above .500 and being a bubble team is solid imo

Screw that, Kelly had 39 scholarship players when he took over and won the west in year one.
We had zero scholarship players 18 months ago.
