Because it had been so long since we had one. The 2023 run through Omaha has to be the best. Every game was amazing.

Hard to pick a favorite.

‘23 was probably the most exciting for me. I did not expect us to win it when we went into the losers bracket. It was high quality entertainment.

2025 was great because imo it was the best team we've ever had. We've had other teams that were more dominant against weaker competition, but this was the best overall team.

2023 was great because they won in such dramatic style. The struggle with Wake Forest was epic.

1996 because of the dramatic walk off.

2009 because it established that LSU was not just a Skip Bertman blip. Also, my son-in-law was a strong contributor on the team.

You have to be more specific.

Championship game/series?
Championship team?
Entire CWS?
Season?

Different answers for different questions.

2023 - what a run and what a relief after the gap from the last championship

2025 - first time ever to see it in person in Omaha

2009 - solidified how good LSU's program is as a whole to win one post Skip Bertman

1996(obviously), 2009(because my two young sons and I were there and got to go to a private practice before the championship), and 2023(Skenes and Crews)

My number one has to be 25 because i had just been transferred to Myrtle Beach for work and the looks I got as I walked around with my LSU gear on was priceless.

91 - It was LSU's first national championship in any "major" sport in decades. This was at a time football was in the tank, so it gave LSU fans something to be proud of. Also memorable because after the final out my buddy's dad said we had to immediately drive out to LSU's campus to start celebrating with everyone in the streets because "that's what you do when your team wins a championship." So on a hot June afternoon we piled into an old Buick with a barely working AC and went to campus. When we got there the dad was driving like a maniac, honking his horn, and screaming out the window...to absolutely no one because the throngs of fans didn't show up. Luckily, because he drove like such a maniac and it was 95 degrees, I got car sick and barfed in the backseat. "Celebration" over.

96 - Morris's HR. That's all that needs to be said.

23 - While stressful as a fan in the moment and not the ideal route to a championship, that was an awesome week+ of high stakes/stress games almost every night. 8 games in 10 days

1991. The first.

2023. The most enjoyable from beginning to end.

1996. The greatest moment in CWS history.

I was only 3 years old for '91, otherwise I'm sure I'd probably have it on my list.

1) '23 was probably my favorite championship run for any of the teams I follow in any sport. Those Wake Forest games were incredible. Skenes vs. Lowder '07 LSU football and '09 saints are right there though. If only the '11 football team had sealed the deal...

2) '96 - I was only 8 and I remember Morris' walkoff.

3) '09 - Because Chad Jones and Jared Mitchell being 2 sport athletes made this team so fun to watch, and I was there.
