There was…a lot.

But I guess the biggest was coming out in the second half and being out-coached on both sides of the ball.

The lack of adjustments was mind boggling and I can’t figure out what happened after being a team that really shined off the second half adjustments last year.

Just how poorly prepared the team was. Mistakes over and over. We are a very very poorly coached team.

Could not pin it on one thing.

Probably realizing that Brian Kelly may not be that good of a coach.

The biggest surprise was that while I was a bit concerned about the defensive secondary, I didn’t think it would be THAT bad. It was a mix of shitty Matt “take it to the” House scheme and even worse execution.

OL play was #1 and the defensive adjustments after halftime. Also Hilton hardly playing and Logan Diggs apparently in the doghouse. And putting our most explosive defensive player at MLB.

Secondary was not a surprise.

Poor preparation, no ability to make adjustments, the coach admitting post game that he doesn’t know what his team is.

Lack of talent on defense, especially the secondary. Other than Wingo and Smith when he returns, the talent on defense is well below the LSU norm. The way they used Perkins is a crime. Guy is a disrupter, and rather than using him that way, they had him shadowing Travis all night, which mostly meant he stood around in the middle of the field most of the night.

O-line for sure. Just got manhandled for the most part. Supposed to be a strength of the team.

Most surprising was the offensive and defensive play calling and second half adjustments.

Looked like the offense was guessing and never wanted to attack the middle of the field. Defense was in max protect all night and when they blitzed it was obvious. The Perkins spy was a horrible decision that I have been critical of all week. I’m a layman and saw that coming a mile away.

That FSU imposed their will on LSU from the first second of the 2nd half, and LSU did little to protest that.

This offense should be much much better than last season. It was worse.

Been watching LSU football for a long time.
I’ve never seen them quit before.

That my ugly S-I-L was correct and FSU won.

That & JD5 no matter how much benefit of the doubt he received didn't seem to grow into a semblance of a better qb than he was last season.

This. They were just better and much more physical. LSU defense was tired and soft in the 2nd half. I tip my hat to FSU. They are a really good team.
