I echo the sentiment of the plurality of responses: the OL ineffectiveness. The inability to get a yard on 2nd and 3rd and 1s was mind boggling. Getting blown off the line was discouraging. We looked physically weaker. LSU punches the ball in the endzone and the Tigers lead is larger at halftime and the whole complexion of the game is different. The secondary we knew would be a weakness, but it would not have been as exposed if the lead was larger and the FSU playcalling had been more predictable.

Was that our o-line ???? And with the exception of about 5 passes it was tackle them when they catch the pass because our guys weren't in a position to make a play on the ball

I was surprised at how soft and unathletic the defense was. FSU was running thru LSU.

We’ve went from having a bunch of NFL dudes on defense to a bunch of random college transfers. Soft and bad. Especially in the secondary

I cant remember seeing that lack of quality depth on defense. We got gassed and outclassed. I mean I get that they adjusted, but we didn't win as many one on ones in second half. We should have more pride on defense....I'm deflated too

Physicality. I thought we were going to push teams around. We look like a finesse team.

Daniels still making freshman mistakes.

He does not have to play a perfect game but he needs to play like a 5th year senior. Some of his mistakes were just head scratchers

That our own coaching staff took our best player completely out of the game
He was as effective as Mason Smith on the sidelines
LSU played defense with 11 players and very few of them were above average
Blown out in 2nd half for 4th time in last 6 big games
We are not any good at all on defense and it is 90% bad scheme imho

How we got our asses kicked in all phases in the second half. I was not expecting that.

I didn't get the rushing three guys on FSU's QB.

He had all day to throw to his tall receivers and the run defense

JD5 no matter how much benefit of the doubt he received didn't seem to grow into a semblance of a better qb than he was last season.
Absolutely.

He's a "Running Back trying to play Quarterback" and that doesn't work long term in the SEC or against powerhouse Top 5 teams like FSU......

That Daniels has not gotten better than year
Still played like first and 10 until end of game on last touchdown when it was way too late

Abandoning slant routs and quick outs? TE over middle was no where to be seen. Running into a group of tanks on the DLine?

Your job needs to drug test you if you think JD is looking for receivers in the middle of the field

Regardless of whether Perkins was used optimally there were a lot of plays where he was in pursuit and got smoked. He seemed stuck in 1st gear all night. No sign of that elite closing speed he showed last year. Did he put on too much weight moving to the middle?

And the receivers failing to make plays on very catchable balls. Big failure to step up on the big stage. Hopefully the three young studs start easing in.
