Move Daniels to RB, or to a Taysom Hill type role. Issue solved.

A QB that can beat Alabama has to be pretty high on the job duties list.

Jordan Jefferson did that twice. And won an SEC championship. Yet everyone hated him.

If we assume the OL was THE factor to roll with Jayden, and if Joe Burrow was on the roster in '22, who starts Jayden or Joe? That OL would've gotten Joe killed?

He doesn’t like a style of QB he likes a quality of QB.

Jayden was the best QB on our team this year. That’s based on the there and then.

If you look at Golston, Reese, Wimbush, Kizer, Book, Zaire, Coan and Buchner it’s clear he was some level of mobility, but he’s going to play the QB who gives him
The best chance at winning.

So you wouldn’t want Tim Tebow, Johnny Manziel or Cam Newton?

You can say you’d prefer Jayden become a better passer without saying dumb shite like this.

Based on his decisions so far Kelly and Denbrock believe that turnovers, fumbles and interceptions, lose football games.
Certainly not a new concept in years past. However when offenses are regularly scoring 45+ points per game, a turnover that results in a 3 or even 7 point score is not insurmountable.

I think that J Daniel's " regression" in the passing game and his reluctance to throw ths ball over the middle is due to a constant barrage of Denbrock telling Daniel's that under no circumstances will the ball be thrown unless the receiver is wide open facing Daniels.
Under no circumstances will the ball be targeted between the hashmarks.

That explains JDs fear of throwing the ball downfield.

I don't care who has more rushing yards. I just want to win. Let the coaches coach, even if doesn't pass the rants eye test. Win baby win that's all the matters.

Passing attempts - our running game outside of the QB was very weak by LSU standards.

When literally most every significant skill player on offense has more yards per attempt it’s not the greatest situation.

Our offense this year didnt really have an identity

Our offense had a work in progress online with two true freshman tackles that really struggled early on and no lead RB.

He wants the same kind everyone wants.
- A great arm
- great leader
- ability to read defenses
- quick decision maker
- protects the ball
- pocket presence
- can run well

Ideally you want a mobile QB that can help you maintain a lead or, if you find yourself seriously behind, has the ability to produce chunk plays to help you get back in the game. But this season was rather peculiar. Despite being at times a reluctant passer JD went against type, bringing the Tigers back numerous times with his legs more than his deep throws. Who’s the best option for LSU going into 2023? I would lean toward nudging JD toward the draft to preserve the QB room (and perhaps WR room) but how do you not feel good about LSU’s chances with a healthy JD back with another year in this offense and an improved offensive line? That’s why BK makes the big bucks I guess.

Based on what, exactly?

What percentage of dual-threat QBs has Brian Kelly had as starters over his time as a head coach?

I believe out of the starters at Notre Dame all but about 2 had over a 100 rush attempts per year.

Well since they count sacks as rushing att in cfb 100 is not a lot
5-8 per game

Get better running backs and maybe you can change this. I love Josh Williams but the fact a former walk on was your most reliable back all seasons had a lot to do with Jayden being the leading rusher. That and have a very young and inexperienced but talented o line.

Especially early in the season the only running plays that worked were ones designed for Jayden or him scrambling.
