No Huddle offenses: Ex. Auburn, TAMU, Oregon.

I don't like that we:

A) Don't play more out of conference games against quality opponents
B)Alabama

Have 10 games and a real playoff.
Commercials make the game to slow
Cheating
Head injuries
6 million dollar coaches
Coaches can leave, but not players
ESPN making schedules and game times
Non students should go pro from HS

That the four playoff teams will selected by a committee that includes people like Archie Manning and Condoleeza Rice.

16 game tournament, rendering the regular season and conference championships meaningless,
not sure I agree with this. as others have said in this thread, the regular season isn't meaningless in the nfl. the teams that make the playoffs were the best teams over the course of the entire season. 1 loss didn't blow their chances at the playoffs.

Yeah, I don't exactly support this, but don't have a better idea.

college gameday. I turned it on last sat for a few minutes and instantly realized i hate it more now than I did when I quit watching it about 8 years ago. they took something annoying and made it WORSE

the ncaa. the 2010 season was a complete sham because they knowingly allowed an ineligible player to play and then hid behind a loophole so they didn't have to do any hard work

teams like niu making a bcs bowl. completely absurd. although, it appears the big 5 conferences are getting this rectified.

rantards/negatigers who can't realize they have unrealistic expectations. 2009 was the worst season for me. 2 years of people complaining in the stands. the magic lsu had built up from 2000-07 was completely gone. if you're going to gripe about every little thing, why in the world would you pay exorbitant amounts of money, drive to Orlando and make everyone around you miserable? what is the point? stay at home

I might can think of something else but, college football to me remains incredible. it never ceases to amaze me. also, i'm the kind of person that there is no substitute for being there. going to games is an awesome experience that tv just can't duplicate.

I just meant that now it is all based on people. If the bcs formula wasn't working 6 years ago why didn't they go to a committee then

With the exception of Bama and Oklahoma I thought the BCS always got the final 2 teams right. Really bama was one of the best 2 teams but i still hate that they made it that year.

The college football lineup this weekend is overall pretty damn bad.

Not really

Stanford v. USC
Mich. State v. Oregon
Michigan v. Notre Dame
VT v. Ohio State

Those are all at least fairly interesting to me. Not as formidable a lineup as we'll get in October, but still some fun games to be watched.

Mine is the politicalness of it. It leads to these cupcake schedule games which brings down the interest that has been brewing since last year.

I understand playing an in-state program, but these other games are shite.

Take this year, we open with a quality team and really get things going late in the game.....now we will watch a letdown of sorts by the players because they know they should be able to sleepwalk thru and win....they know young guys will play....no matter what, they are not emotionally invested in games like this.

I'd love to see a "black-out" rule like the NFL.

Sounds nice in theory. I'd love for there to be a more rigid incentive for less cupcake games. But the disparity of schedule difficulty between conferences and scheduling issues/conflicts that arise over games scheduled years in advance often necessitates scheduling some cupcakes (moreso for an SEC team than, say, a Big 12 team).

TV timeouts

Especially when they basically have a double break after a score: Score, timeout, kickoff, timeout. So annoying.
