Really? this is what I LOVE. Unlike MLB or the NBA...every game counts

I'm not saying it's a bad thing for sure. It's just what I don't like about it. Especially when a loss or two leads to a bowl that I really don't think my team deserves to go to.

Hawaii fans. Wait, does HI actually have fans and why would they post on an LSU board?

I no fan of a playoff, but what would you have them do?

The college football lineup this weekend is overall pretty damn bad.

Michigan St vs Oregon?
Notre Dame vs Michigan?

There's certainly still good games on

Scheduling manipulation.

There should be more games between major conferences and more attractive home slates to motivate people to go to games.

My number two thing... expectations of perfection. Lose one game and your season is ruined. That's the cause of the lack of games between more powerful teams.

- People who are not really college football fans (casual fans and media people for instance) driving the sport for TV rather than for what actually brings those of us who go to games to the stadiums.

- Polls before mid season

- Recruiting services and fans that follow the comings and goings of 14 year old boys

- BAMA fans

The way it's been corporatized the past 10 years or so. The way they've driven college students away from stadiums due to tuition hikes and unending ticket price increases. The neutral site games and incessant uniform changes that pander to high school recruits. Overexposure of teams, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday games. Everyone is on tv.

cupcake games are a necessary evil, like the preseason in the pros. they also give folks that don't have season tickets and opportunity to buy them and make a game. having 12 tough games is just too much. also, if a program voluntarily eliminates cupcake games, theiy will never win shite. no conference titles, no national titles, etc

Cupcake games happen at the high school and college level in all sports. The team needs real game experience while being able to ensure a victory. I'm fine with cupcakes.

Neutral site games are starting to wear on me. They're good match-ups typically in good venues, but it'd be nice to host a game of that quality at home once in a while.

The subjective nature of awarding playoff spots and bowls is the worst thing about college football. If the playoffs were expanded to 8 teams it would take out more of the subjection.
