What game, or moment, did you really start to think we can really win it all?

I'm not talking about the general,"this is our year",etc.

For me it was the Florida game. Our defense had been spotty but the offense continued to amaze. Not a Todd Grantham fan as a guy,but he's a tremendous DC. When we went down 28-21 and scored 21 straight concluding went that beautiful 75 yard pass, that's when the light went off.

I knew we had a special offense fairly quickly, but it was after we beat Bama that the biggest hurdle was cleared.

Texas offensively

Sounds strange but utah state showed me our D was capable and would get it together when healthy.

After we ran all over Alabama. That should have been a 21 point game. We dominated them.

The first scoring drive against Bama was a pretty pivotal moment for me

I had a good feeling going into the game because they don't have the same defense as in previous years but we made that drive look really easy

3rd and 17 made think it was a possibility. The way we moved the ball on Florida turned that into knowing we had a good chance to at least make the playoffs.

Texas.

Because at the time we were all under the impression that was a top 10 type team in a hostile road environment and our offense just had their way with them.

I knew their offense and coaching lit our defense up, but Ehlinger is a top QB, Herman is a great offensive mind, and I knew Aranda would figure it out with all of our talent.

That game was when I thought "damn, we could do this, just need to beat Bama".

Absolutely. It bothers me that they came back to make the score look respectable. That game wasn't really that competitive. The defense gave up some inexplicable big plays.

But after seeing LSU dominate bama I figured they would at least make the playoffs.

After Bama and then for sure when we took care of business to close out the reg season. After Bama I was still a little concerned we were going to lose focus and get bit against Ole Miss, Arky or A&M

When the Moss toe tap catch near the end of the first half of the Bama game didn’t get overturned.

I thought we had a shot to win at all after the Texas game.

I knew it after the arkansas game. You could feel it.

Florida game for me as well. You could start to see it. Alabama confirmed it.

I agree with you that the Florida game was an eye opener. I was more impressed with our offense that night than any LSU game I had ever seen (until Oklahoma).

But I just couldn’t let myself truly believe LSU could win it all until we got the big crimson elephant off our backs. And I can give you the specific moment.

The Burrow to Edwards-Helaire td right before half was the “omg we are going to win it all” moment.

Not sure about win it all, but that back shoulder TD to Jefferson right before halftime of the Texas game is when I got that feeling this season would be special.

I don’t think it was any one single moment but an accumulation of the first 4 or 5 games. Then after the Auburn game I knew there was no stopping us. After we took Georgia’s soul I knew there was no stopping this team no matter the opponent.
