I heard on the radio this morning that this Michigan team is the first NC not to not have trailed at halftime since the 2001 Miami team.

If I had to guess, Auburn. They were the only ones to give us trouble.

Michigan certainly did not play the schedule that 2019 LSU played.

Okay, but tied isn't losing. Maybe those guys needed to elaborate more.

I think we were also tied at halftime against Florida that year.

We were down 17-7 to Clemson in the 2Q until we realized Venables was stealing our signs.

Scored 3 times in a row before half to go up 28-17

A few tough games that year:
Texas
Florida
Auburn

They were wrong. We never trailed at halftime all season. Had 2 games tied, Auburn and Florida.

This year’s Michigan team didn’t play nearly as difficult a schedule as 2019 LSU.

They didn't really give us trouble. They got away with multiple pass interference in the End Zone. Also, the field was trashed from the rain and it was causing us to slip and drop balls.

did they sat "at" or "after"?

Auburn had a 3 point lead on us for a few minutes in the 3rd that year.

Thought they said "at" but maybe they did say 'after.' Just curious.

I know it wasn't the Oklahoma game.

It's funny to think about the scoring pressure 2019 LSU would put on 2023 Michigan. The game would be a complete blowout.

The 2019 secondary would completely dominate their receivers allowing the front 7 to do whatever they wanted. Shelvin would be blowing up the run game. I honestly don't think that they could keep the game within 30 points

I believe they sacked Burrow 3-4 times in the first half with that crazy 3-1-7 defense they ran.

Four of the QB’s LSU faced in 2019 started all season this year for their respective NFL teams :

Love, Tua, Hurts, Lawrence.

All four also made the playoffs this year. Nix will start for someone at some point in the next year or two. Trask has only thrown 10 career passes in the NFL, but was as good a college QB as the two that played last night. 2019 scores 50 plus on Michigan and doesn’t give up more than 24.

Correction

3/4 made the playoffs. All four finished the season with winning records. Mix as a Heisman finalist and finished 6th in the country. Trask, Mond, and Ehlinger are still in the NFL. KJ will be drafted at some point. Fromm was on the practice squad all year, but activated for the last two weeks.

Forget halftime. We were losing to Florida in the 3rd quarter.
