Crews has performed under way more pressure I can say that. He came here expected to be an all time great and he delivered. Nobody thought burrow would be much let’s be honest. 2019 shocked all of us

No one is ever passing Burrow in any sport. If you think it’s even possible just means you need to go revisit his records set in 2019.

Surpass would be fought but about equal could happen.

He can’t because he doesn’t play QB for the football team.

Game-winning homerun of every game we play in Omaha?

First he needs to win the chip
If he does that no one will compare him to Burrow
If he does that no one will compare him to Burrow

Two different sports. We can have multiple GOATs

Why don’t you just stop?

i don’t think any baseball player can surpass joe.
this is all Joe has going for him:
undefeated NC
Most prestigious trophy in college sports
statistical dominance: Set NCAA a passing records.
played not only the most important position in sports but also a position that has been plaguing us for years.
baseball is just too much of a team sport.
pitchers will need to pitch. 8 other batters will need to bat
he would need like 7-10 HRs in omaha to push into that conversation.

Throwing 8 TD passes in a playoff game would do it.

Win CWS, then play football this fall and play a significant role in football NC.

It's damn-near impossible for anyone to match Burrow's arc.
Crews would have to go completely apeshit in Omaha, hitting HRs, stealing bases at will, making spectacular catches, rob someone of a HR, throw somebody out at the plate, and THEN be the dominant factor in the Finals.
Because that's the equivalent of what Burrow did in the postseason in 2019.
And not only that, he has to win every award doing so, be the first pick in the draft, and within 2-3 years not just make the big leagues, but have an MVP-type season and lead his team to the World Series.
Because that's what Burrow has done since 2019.
It all sounds impossible, but in the summer of 2019 you'd say the same for Burrow. He's the ultimate fantasy; not just the natty, not just the Heisman, not just all the records that magical season, but he then transformed his hometown (dumpster fire) NFL team into a Super Bowl team in a couple seasons.

He won’t ever be perceived as on Burrow’s level because baseball is a game where he’s absolutely killing it and failing more often than not. Burrow was completing like 80% of his passes in most games and just shitting on people. Crews is as good at his sport as Burrow was but it’s just not the same

It can't be done....but win the Natty anyeay.
