Yeah he needs to bring a Natty home to LSU to be in this conversation.

He’d have to walk off every game in Omaha with HRs… and still wouldn’t.

Win it all this year. Pass up the draft. Return next year and win it all again.

Sorry, football is king. Joey B all day everyday. Not even close, even if we win it all in Omaha.

If he were to lead us to a baseball Natty & QB us to a Natty this year in football, he'd surpass Burrow.

He can hit a walk off home run to win it all and it will not surpass JB9. Sorry man, it is what it is.

He cannot nor Skenes!

National Champs 15-0 in our beloved football, 5,400 Yards, 60 TD

Beat 7 top 25 teams when played and finished the season beating college football royalty including a few blue bloods below:

Bama
Georgia
Oklahoma
Clemson
Auburn
And others

Now, to jump the list to right behind Burrow we need to win the Natty and Crews needs a stat line like: 12-20 (600) with 4 HR, 3 Triples, 1 Double, 4 singles with 10 RBI's

Skenes needs 2 complete games, 25 strike outs (beats Big Ben's record), ERA 1.50, 1 walk, giving up only 6 hits in 2 full games. One shut out and the other game 5-1

He has one chance and it’s almost impossible

He would need to do ALL of the following to have any chance;

Win Omaha

AND

have a Mickey mantle/Ted Williams type of pro career

That would put him in the conversation

It is a fun daydream because it makes us remember that for Burrow it wasn’t just the stats or victories it was the WAY he did it against quality opponents. Those weren’t dink and dunk passes tacking up stats - they were NFL throws (going to NFL receivers).

A position player in baseball gets 4-6 plate appearances a game, might make a spectacular catch in the field and throw someone out at home. But, to even be in the conversation with Burrow he’d need to hit game-winning HR each game and help win the Natty. And, I might point out, the other team walked him 4/5 times the other night.

Just have fun Dylan and swing that bat Brah!
