He can’t and that’s not a knock on Crews. Winning a heisman and national championship in the same year is a rare feat, especially since it had been 60 years for an LSU heisman and not a lot of people were alive to see Cannon play. I’ve had the fortune to see all of the baseball titles.

Both will always live in lore around lsu campus.
However the notoriety, exposure, monetary and hardware explosion Burrow brought to lsu thru the football program is just not something any baseball player can accomplish, no matter how great which Crews is.

That’s not really fair. Burrow came into a more passer friendly generation than decades before. Crews came into a less hitter friendly generation than decades before. But I agree he won’t pass Burrow just because that’d be nearly impossible for a baseball player.
