I’ll go the unrealistic route. He can pass Joey B if he basically wins the natty by himself by hitting 10 HR in Omaha. On top of that says frick it 1 more year and convinces Skenes to stay too. Then win it all again next year.

That would do it for me.

He will never surpass Joe. Joe's story arc, his personality, the Heisman speech, us finally beating Bama etc will not be matched for some time, if ever by another player. Joe never once had a slump in his final year, and while I don't dog Dylan for it, it did happen. Joe was incredible from beginning to end in his final year. The Burreaux jersey on senior night, stomping the Aggots 50-7 after 74-72 the year before. The point to his ring finger walking off the field after his final play as a Tiger, smoking a cigar in the locker room, c'mon man. Joe is the greatest Tiger of all time. No discussion.

When its game 3 of college world series final, bottom of the 9th, 2 outs, down by 3 runs and bases are loaded with a 0-2 count and Crews hits a walkoff granny, then we'll talk.

If Skenes wins golden spikes and a title, would this be feasible?

I’m the words of Fowler “Burrow can walk across water without getting wet”

No one will ever surpass him in my book.

Skenes is more burrowesque! He would have to win the gold spikes award and the cws in order to be equal to JoeyB at LSU

Not really a fair comparison.

I don’t care about comparing the two, and I won’t. Both were/are absolute joys to watch master their craft. If Crews never played another inning of baseball after he leaves LSU, I would still hold him in the same regard as I do Cannon, Pistol, Shaq, Ben, Todd, and Burrow.

and sec tourney and reg season championship. And pretty much every other individual award possible in addition to golden spikes.

Can't really expect that to happen due to the sport he plays.

He would need to do the obvious... and win it all in Omaha. But that's just just the tip. He would probably need to have multiple HRs in Omaha, help lead LSU straight thru, couple multi run HRs to boot and lastly..... I'd say bat above .460 just in Omaha.
