re: What are your thoughts on beer in Tiger Stadium after a few seasons?

I don’t know if it’s a generational thing or kids these days have acorns for bladders, but there’s a group of young people (21-29 my guess) that shows up late, holding 3-6 bud lights, crawls over before 2Q, again in 2Q, 3 times in the 3Q, and then they just leave finally by mid 4Q.

So I watch others do the same thing. Some folks just cannot sit still. Yes TV timeouts are a bitch, but they’re the perfect time to crawl past and interrupt the rest of us since we’re not doing anything. I blame the beer. The need to keep drinking followed by the much needed piss breaks.

Last weekend, these same kids with their female significant others crawled over us moments before Bama scored, and then the rest of them tried to crawl over moments before LSU scored. We were all like “hold the hell on”. Watch the game and pay attention to the game play.

I don’t care about the beer or the people crawling around and not watching that much but doing it while the play is in motion pisses me off. But I don’t find the experience any more enjoyable being able to buy a lukewarm beer for $11.

Tiger Stadium with beer and bourbon spills rolling down the Stadium is so damn old school great. Beer in the stadium is wonderful for any of us from Acadiana

I’m done with the overpriced alcohol. I just bring some bud into the game, and go smoke under the concourse at halftime

You either drink craft beer or you're white Livingston parish trash...you cant claim both.

I'll have you know I bring an entire 16.9 oz water bottle filled with the cheapest vodka I can find to every game I attend. Sometimes I even bring 2. I carefully remove the lid with the tamper resistant ring still attached, fill'r'up and trot on in. BINGO. I sneak in Vitali Vodka in a Water Bottle and buy a Souvenir Cup of Diet Coke on way to my seats.

Very effective and much cheaper than buying 3-4 beers during a game.

LSU has determined the profits outweigh any potential negatives so I am fine with it.

4 drinks were less than the price of 2 drinks so yea, that's a fricked up ratio. There is zero reason to sell a $1.50 beer for $11, that's almost a 1000% markup ffs.

My beer is craft and my liquor is trailer park special.
