Why did he get arrested? Throwing a liquid on someone like that is assault.

I’ve been to Oxford many times for many different games, events and activities. The only way you’ll have trouble is if you go looking for it. This idiot went into the OM student section wearing an LSU jersey, got thrown out once and went back. He then punched some kid half his age and half his size and folks act like he did something.

Why was he in the Ole Miss student section? It is separated from the rest of the stadium. Can you imagine an Ole Miss fan in the student section in Tiger Stadium? He asked for it, got it then threw a punch, got arrested. Complete dumbass day from this guy all around.

I agree with this, but don’t think it’s any different at any other college campus. Kids have been taught since elementary school to never throw a punch. Kids are soft these days.

From what I can tell by looking at the vid, some clown standing in front of the LSU guy tossed the beer at him.
The little pee-wee Herman security guard, who looked to be about 5'5" went up to the ole miss fan to the left and the LSU guy may have thought it was him who threw the beer at him and nailed him.
Regardless, the LSU guy is about to pay mucho OT $$$ to the guy he punched and probably pay some big fines plus a lot money for a lawyer to get out jail time.
The OM punk who threw the beer at the LSU guy is probably gonna get a slap on the wrist and have to do some sort of community service, like cleaning up trash at the ball park.

Friendly banter among fans is normal, fun and healthy. There’s none of that at Ole Miss. I don’t know if it’s the ingrained inferiority complex at work, but the shite talking is mean-spirited with that bunch. And always has been.

My best friend went to bama, we snuck him in the LSU student section the year after we lost to bama in the natty. Was another heart breaking loss. He was in a bama jersey the whole game and nothing happened to him.
