We aren’t as bad as last night, but we need to get healthy

This team looked pretty good over the first 2.5 games.
Need to get healthy and keep moving forward. I still think we win 8-9 games.

No. That's the NFL. One week you look like shite and next week look unstoppable. Something tells me we knock off the 4-0 vikings and everyone will be back on the bandwagon. Then get smashed by the Giants the following week. It'll be a roller coaster of wins and losses..

Or we get our dicks punched in again and cruise to a 2-15 record.

I think the stage was definitely an issue. It was treated like a mini Super Bowl, which famously can throw some teams off and just lead to complete no-shows.
Not that that is a good thing in the long term, because it’s yet another indicator that Moore has no control of the locker room as far as their emotional readiness, but there is a pretty good chance that back to the normal anonymous grind on Sunday at noon we play much better.

I wouldn’t say good. But they’re better than what they were last night.
But I’m way more comfortable saying we’re closer to a 7 win team than a 9 win team unless they all of a sudden learn how to run the ball and stop the run effectively.

I was honestly blown away with how much we missed Eliss.

Think it shows the drop off to Stutsman. Also Staleys scheme is dependent on linebackers to stop the run. The DA 4-3 was much more dependable with the four heavy bodies on the line.
Staley’s system be more dominant but it’s all dependent on having talent at NT and LB to stop the run.

I just don't see that happening with the loss of Banks and the delay of getting Tyson back.
I do think the offense could end up being good before the season is up...but I just can't imagine us hanging in there long enough for it to matter.

Hard to swallow letting Demario go. We could really use him.

Get our starters back, where are their backups and why are they on this team if their that bad.Roster building is not Loomis’s fortay ,Saints totally lack overall depth.

Stop!!! Please!!! We are a bad football team. Admit it!! This team needed to hit on this draft and it was one of our worst so far. Mickey Loomis needed to be fired when we fired a-hole Dennis Allen. DA should have never been hired. Poor decision after poor decision is why we got her arse pounded last night. Nothing else. WE SUCK!!! KOOL AID SUCKS WE HAVE A PLAYER NAMED KOOL AID. Can’t make this shite up. frick him too.

You could tell right off the bat the Saints knew they were in over their heads.
They knew they wouldn't be able to establish a solid rush so you saw long balls, a lot of them, right off the bat. That's desperation.
Atlanta stole their will right from the initial possession and never looked back.
Good teams are prepared for injuries. The Saints are not good.

I am hoping for a faster turnaround, but I fear the timelines on the key injuries could have us “too late” by the time things click.

That’s pretty close to who they are. This team lacks talent & depth.

beating the Ravens did fool me some.
But Baltimore will occasionally lay an egg at home. in 2024 they dropped a Week 2 home game to the Raiders. The Raiders went 4-13 that year while Baltimore went 12-5.
We caught a break without Zay Flowers in the lineup. Don't get me wrong though. No one cares about an injured player except said team's fanbase. That is the NFL for you. Every team is going to impacted by injuries.
the whole no balance on offense and shite starts in the first quarter never helps a defense that has what one impact player? Chase and then maybe Ellis?

The Saints love injury prone players.

Its just he Louisiana Culture.
People will let vehiciles sit and rot for years.
People will offer them money. Much lower than they think it is "worth"
But they will die before they sell it then their children just junk it.
The Saints are the same way with Injury Prone Players.
