Direct all that to the NCAA my man
I keep seeing takes like this, and it drives me crazy. The chaos and anarchy in college sports right now are NOT the NCAA's fault. The NCAA keeps trying to make rules to impose some order on the game, but various state and federal judges (many of whom, let's be honest, are myopic homers) keep striking down every limit that is put in place.
My hope is that the 5-for-5 rule will go into place next year and be applicable to everyone going forward, getting rid of all--or at least much--of this insanity. In the meantime, Kiffin and Wade are just playing by the rules (or lack thereof) that the courts have imposed.

Why would NCAA rules all of a sudden become enforceable again? The toothpaste is out of the tube.
The point of all this is there's always going to be a judge somewhere who rules against the NCAA. Until federal laws are passed this will continue to happen.

I think what you meant to say is that LSU finally has coaches in place that are playing under the rules that are set forth and taking advantage of those rules.
I guess you’d rather have Kelly and McMahon running things then everyone would love LSU. Get out of here with that scummy bullshite. College coaches have been breaking rules for 100 years, but when LSU takes advantage of rules that others are taking g advantage of, they’re scummy. Go cry to someone else with that shite.

This is embarrassing.
For the NCAA? Sure.
All the D1 programs are swimming in scummy water, if we are being honest.

Good. Maybe all the other schools will bitch and complain enough and their state's congressmen and senators will do something legislatively that would give the NCAA some teeth with enforcing eligibility and transfer rules instead of letting the NCAA constantly get slapped around in state courts.

It's perfectly within the current rules for now. Sleazy? Exactly how. When the appeals are over and it turns out, potentially, that the NCAA rule for turning pro and eligibility is not constitutional, would you rather be standing without any potential signees? That isn't honorable, it's dumb.

How scummy is Texas or Miami?

I'm sure no other SEC team reached out to these players to come back to school....
Yeah....it's inconceivable that would have happened.
Is it legal...yep.
Moral...it's a freaking game and it's not cheating.
Ethical...again, it's college sports...
stop being babies about this and enjoy the ride.

Texas did it 2 weeks ago.
I’m confused on how this is actually hurting people’s feelings. College football has been broken for 5+ years and now we have all this selective outrage?

Please clarify what rules we’re breaking. What are we doing that the others can’t do? I’ll wait.
