The president who fired him and refused to entertain the idea of a return is gone. He’s been replaced by the president at Wade‘s former school, who is very much in favor of Wade.

The A.D. who fired him and refused to entertain the thought of a reunion is gone. He was forced out by the governor who was also part of a political push to bring Wade. back to LSU last spring.

That push was led by a member of the LSU board of supervisors. That member was recently appointed by the governor as chairman of the board of supervisors.

I’m not, nor have I ever predicted that Wade would return to LSU. But there is NO impediment from the LSU administration to a return

This times a BILLION. It boggles my mind how many people can't "read between the lines" when people speak. He's not gonna bad mouth NC state, especially when he's first hired.

He may or may not come back. I personally think/hope he will, but there aren't any guarantees. That's kinda how life is.

What is without dispute is that over the course of Wade's future coaching career, LSU will be in an INFINITELY BETTER financial position than the wolfpack will be.

NC state will most likely not be in a power conference after 2030. LSU will ALWAYS be running with the big boys, period!!!
